I woke up in my bed, the room was dark except for the streaks of sun coming from the window. I turn over and grab my phone from the table. I look at the time, it said 7:38. "Man, Barry already left for work!" I run out of bed. I go over to my bag and pull out jeans and a shirt. I quickly change and grab my jacket from the bed. I slip on my flats and run out the door. I run to the kitchen to grab a muffin for breakfast and I see Barry sitting at the island eating toast with coffee.

"Hey Liz, when're you going?" "Well I was going to race to the precinct because I thought you left already." "Liz...you do know its Sunday, right." "Well, then." I flopped down into a chair next to him and take a bite of his toast. "Hey, this is my toast." "Oops, anyway, its kind of burnt." "Well I have an extreme metabolism, I need food."

"What happen last night? I don't remember how I got home." "You know how I can't get drunk." "Ya, wait was I drunk?!" "Hold on, Caitlin made this extremely fermented drink and I tired it." "You got buzzed." "For like a second, then someone decided to try it." "No!" "Ya, you tried it. As soon as you put the vile down you toppled over." "Oh my god." I said with a chuckle. Then Barry's phone rang, "well, someones day job beckons." "You wanna come?" "Sure, if there's a body, I can inspect it." "I thought you majored in computer sciences in cyber security." "I did, but that doesn't mean I can minor in watching Forever." "Forever?" "Its a tv show of an immortal M.E." "Wow, ok lets go."

He picks me up and we run into an alley next to the crime sceen. We walk out and there was a body right dead center. I walk over and crouch next to it looking at it from all sides. "Excuse me ma'am, this is a crime sceen." I look up and see Captain Singh. "Oh, sorry David." "Excuse me?" "I mean Captain Singh." I walk over to Barry where he's looking at a box on the ground thats covered in some slimy substance. "Barry, have any extra gloves?" "Ya, why?" "I want to be your temporary M.E." "Uh, you sure about that?" "Yes, now hand them over." He pulls out some plastic gloves from his pocket and hands them to me. I walk over back to the body and start inspecting it. "Excuse me, but I thought I told you this was a crime sceen." Captain Singh said. "I know, and I'm your new M.E." "I would like to see proof." "Heres some proof. Our vic is mediterranean, he's in his mid 40's. There is a small incision on his left clavicle signaling thats where our suspect pierced him with a small....4cm scalpel." "That...is actually a very good observation, but you need a license." I pull out my phone from my pocket and remove the case taking out a little yellow card. I hand Captain Singh the yellow card, it was my official traveling M.E. license. "Very well, but I expect good work." "Nothing less." I said standing up and walking over to where Joe and Barry where standing in awe.

"So you did minor in medical examination." Barry said nodding his head in amazement. "Yes I did, now I need a U.V. light from your forensics kit." "Why?" "You'll see and I also need chlorophyll and a pen." "Um..ok." He walked over to his forensics kit grabbing a small bottle of chlorophyll, a pen, and a small U.V. light. I grab my purse and pull out and empty plastic spray bottle. "Here, what is this for exactly?" "Give me a sec." I brake the pen and pour the ink into the spray bottle and mix it in with the chlorophyll. I shake it really hard and walk over to the body, I spray the black/blue liquid evenly on the victims neck and clavicle. I wave my hand over it to dry it and shine the U.V. light on it.

"Shipingo!" "What?" "Look for your self." I gestured my hand to the vic's neck and you could see, under the U.V. light a pair of finger prints. "Wow, that is amazing. How did you figure that out?" "A friend of mine wanted to become an M.E. since we were in 7th grade. She would study, and study, and STUDY. She told me of you mix chlorophyll with a pen and spray it on any surface and shine a U.V. light on it, the grease on your fingers mixes and you can get prints." "You have a very smart friend." Yes I do, now pass me my purse and a band-aid." "What are you going to do now?" "Stop asking questions and watch." I got out power foundation and the band-aid, I put the power on top of where the prints where and I pressed the band-aid against it with force and when I peeled it away I had a finger print printed on the band-aid. "Let me guess, your friend too?" Barry asked very impressed. "No, Scooby-Do: The Mystery Begins." "You're kidding, right?" He asked with a chuckle. "No, now c'mon. We need to show Captain Singh."

We walked over to Captain Singh, he had his usual 'serious cop face.' "Mr. Allen, how may I help you?" "Oh, no its her, not me." He said pointing to me. "Yes, how can I help our new M.E." Barry had a face of shock when he heard 'new M.E.' "I was able to pull a print of the vic's neck, we can run it through the data base and find our suspect, lets not jump right on a culprit like Captain Lance did." Who?" Barry asked confused. "Nothing." I said quickly.

We bagged the body and headed to the precinct. "So, new M.E.?" Barry asked when we got to his lab. "Hey, I need a job somewhere and apperently Magi already got one at the Central City Museum." "Isn't she 15 though?" "Ya, but she graduated high school at 13." "Wow, so- right before Barry could finish his computer beeped. He went over to check it and it was the result for the finger print we had pulled off of our vic from earlier. I'm walking up to him when he tells me the name. "Our suspects name is Vince Colletta." "Who's Vince Col- I walk up next to the computer with wide eyes. "Count Vertigo." I said quietly out of shock. "Oh frack."
