I was still listening to Adam Lambert when Barry walked through the door. I didn't even see him walk, my head was down looking into space. I didn't hear him either, both my earbuds were in and the music was kind of loud because I was listening to runnin', one of my most favorite songs.
"Cause I keep runnin', runnin', runnin', runnin', runnin', runnin', runnin', runnin', runnin' from my heart!"
"Liz? Earth to Liz." Barry said waving his hand in front of my face. "Oh, hi Barry. I didn't notice you come in." "Ya, but I sure noticed you singing." "Oh, you heard that?" I said dropping my head with a chuckle. "Hey, you're really good." "Not as good as you." "Hey, I am not that good.'' ''Yes you are, Barry I have heard you sing a couple of times, you're pretty good, for my standards.'' ''Oh, for your standards.'' ''Hey, lepuason ho, ho, ho, lepuason.'' ''What the heck is lepuason?'' ''Lepuason is fish, in French.'' ''Did you just call me a fish.'' ''Possibly.'' ''Well Ms. Callahan, you just earned yourself a tickle fest.'' ''Barry, no!'' ''Oh yes.'' He got on top of the bed tickling my sides. ''Hahahahahaha, Ba-Barry, noooo, stoooop.'' I was laughing so hard I fell off the other side of the bed. "Ow, that hurt.'' ''Oh my god, are you ok?'' Barry asked not able to contain his laughter. "Oh I see this is funny huh, well then.'' Liz, I-" I cut him of and did one of the many Gabriel Iglesias jokes I have memorized. "Why are you laughing? Give me the money! Uh! Did you get the money? They did not give me the money. Did you show them the gun? I showed them the gun! Why do you have the computer? They thought I was tech support. Lets go, they're going to call the police. They're still laughing!'' I told him the Indians don't rob banks joke by Gabriel Iglesias, in the Indian accent. Barry couldn't take it, he was on the ground laughing and the thing was he was laughing so hard his sides started hurting.
"Awe man, dude what was that?'' '
'That would be Indians don't rob banks by Gabriel Iglesias, he's a stand up comedian.''
''Awe man, my sides hurt.''
''Well then, you should learn not to laugh at me 'cause I know a whole lot more!''
"You texted me that you wanted to talk to me about something?"
"Ya, right, right, um."
"What'd you want to talk about?"
"I've been having dreams or visions, I don't know what they are, but in the dreams either I die or someone I care about, and they always die the same way."
"How?" Barry asked with a hint of nervousness in his voice.
"They die by having the Reverse-Flash vibrate his hand through them." I said getting quieter.
"Are you scared?"
"I don't know, should I be?"
"How many dreams have you had?"
"Two, in the first one I die and in the second Magi dies. What if these aren't dreams? What am I going to do, I already lost her once. I can't loose her again." I put my face in my hand and started quietly sobbing. "Hey, hey look at me. You're not going to loose her." "How can you be sure?" "Because I am going to keep you and your sister safe." "Barry?" "Yes." "I feel the need to kiss you right now, I know it sounds stupid, but-" I was cut off by his lips against mine. We parted and he looked into my eyes and I looked into his. His marvelous green eyes more beautiful than every. 'I wonder if Grant Gustin's eyes are this green?' I thought to myself. "What was that for?" I asked quietly still looking into his eyes. "You said you felt the need to kiss me." "I didn't actually think you would do it." "Well now you know, I'll do anything to cheer you up. Now who wants Big Belly Burger?" "Oh, me!" I jumped of the bed putting sweat pants over my track shorts.
