Chapter : 13

Author's pov :

The h/c haired girl quickly combed her hair and put it in a side braid. She put some BB cream on and applied eyeliner and lip balm.
She didn't do much but looked very pretty nonetheless.

It was still a bit cold at night so y/n wore skinny jeans and a white coloured top with  a denim jacket and lastly her favourite pairs of sneakers.

She rechecked everything and put her phone and money in her pocket. Walking out in the kitchen to bid bye to her mom, her mom said " sweetie, you look so pretty. I can't believe finally you're opening up. I'm so happy for you"
Y/n smiled at her and hugged her bidding goodbye.
"Thanks mamma"
" Go have fun and don't forget to take photos. I wanna see you having fun"
Y/n chuckled and nodded at her mom.
At the same time their door bell rang.

" That must be him" her mom said. You see, her mom is pretty much happy to see her daughter finally going on a date. Y/n has been single all her life and reserved. So to see such difference in her life made her mom really happy.

Her mom opened the door and there stood yangyang with his infamous gummy smile.
" Omo you're so cute, come inside" her mom gasped as she opened the door wide for him.
Y/n's eyes went wide at her mom and Yangyang blushed.
" Thanks I guess Mrs. Wong" He said and went inside.
" Mom!" Y/n said while laughing at yangyang's flustered state.
" What? I just stated facts" Her mom smirked at her daughter. Then the three of them laughed.
" Oh I forgot to introduce myself! Hello! I'm liu yangyang and today I'm taking your precious daughter out on a date. Wish me luck" he sent a wink at y/n's way. Y/n laughed and slightly hit his arm.

Her mom looked at them with a soft smile.
" Ok I'm taking your time here you should go"
After that yangyang bowed at her and left with y/n , holding her hand.
" Bye mamma"

Yangyang's car honked as he moved his car to a perfect place for parking. After parking they got out. Then they entered the gate to the Spring fair which was glowing with glee.

People were everywhere. Various stalls and shops were pulled up.
" So what should we do first?" Y/n asked looking at yangyang. It was almost hard not to stare at him as he looked really handsome. His grey hair was quite faded but it still looked dashing. And his smile was really pretty that y/n felt her heart melt at the sight of them.

" Are you listening?" Yangyang chuckled.

Y/n snapped out of her bubble and looked away while blushing. She cursed herself in her mind.
"Y-yes.. I mean umm why don't we try a few games first?"

Yangyang smiled widely seeing her so flustered because of him. To be honest he was also feeling the same. The moment he looked at her he felt a million butterflies flipping and flapping in his stomach. Even now his heart is beating fast and he felt giddy all over just looking and thinking about her.

" Ok why not? Let's go" He took her hand in his hand and intertwined them and started walking towards some booths.
Y/n looked at their hands and blushed then looked at him. She felt like she was on top of the world. She was dazed. This is the first time in her whole life that she felt like this.

They stood in a line of playing the throwing hoop game. Next was their turn. There in the table were various things such as plushies , chocolates,funny toys and even makeup.
Once paying they are given the chance to throw 3 hoops each person.
At first yangyang tried. He looked at a cute lion plushie which he saw y/n eyeing since they were in line. He tried to land his first hoop on it but it went at a side. At his second try he looked closely with sharp eyes and threw it. But at the time when he threw it a small kid slightly pushed him , maybe due to the crowd.

But it resulted in the hoop landing on a gag glass with bushy brows and a big nose. Yangyang looked in horror .
Everyone started to laugh at this. Y/n looked at yangyang with a small smile but she was actually trying to suppress her laugh.
Yangyang's cheeks heated up as the booth keeper handed him the prize. He looked in horror at it. Y/n took it away from him and said " don't worry it's cute. Now concentrate on your last try.

Yangyang then looked at the lion plushie again and aimed properly at it. Everyone around them looked in anticipation.

This time the hoop landed on the plushie making everyone cheer and Yangyang smiled in delight. He looked at y/n and y/n put her thumb up with a smile.

The plushie was handed to him but he kept it to him. He'd give it to her but not now as it's y/n's turn to play the game.
Y/n grabbed the hoop and looked at a chocolate bar aiming at it. To everyone's surprise it landed perfectly on the chocolate bar. The booth keeper handed it to yangyang as he looked at y/n in awe.

On her second try she aimed at a cat plushie  and it again landed perfectly on the cat plushie. While on her 3rd try she looked sideways to glance at yangyang as he cheered for her. She then threw the hoop at another chocolate. But it didn't land this time. But she didn't mind cuz she won two prizes.
They went away from the booth. Yangyang praised her on how her aim was really good. Y/n blushed at his compliments and ate the chocolate bar.
" Here have some" y/n handed the bar towards him.
Yangyang looked at the chocolate and refused. But y/n pestered him to eat it . At the end he took a part and ate it. A few minutes passed away with comfortable silence as they thought about what to do next.

"Oh! Here I won this for you. You were looking at so yeah" Yangyang handed the lion plushie towards her. Y/n looked at the plushie and laughed. Yangyang frowned in confusion.
" Oh my... Yangyang I was looking at it cuz it reminded me of you so I was thinking about winning it and give it to you but now you won it so it's yours" y/n said with a wide smile and her cheeks were flushed.

Yangyang looked dumbfounded at the information. Then he also smiled and hugged the plushie. " Thanks I guess"

" Huh! Why are you thinking me?" It was now y/n who was dumbfounded.

" Because you thought about me"

Now y/n became a tomato from blushing.
Y/n looked away but a smile made it's way on to her lips.
Yangyang looked at her and felt his heart skip a beat. 'cute' he thought.

" Ok.. now let's go play more games! Then we can ride a few rides. What do you think?"
Yangyang linked his arms with her and started walking towards other games.
