Where it all begins

KOA'S POV

It is where all it begins, me and Orion started talking in three months from now. We do split troubles, each other's problem and resolve everything. In terms of talking to him, I do know that we have some unexpected common interests and sort of things.

We shared couple of memes in our lives, some corny and mean jokes that we do not take serious now and lastly, we shared the same dream to pursue---and it's becoming a successful lawyer as we can.

I was on my way, when Orion showed up in front of our gate. "What you doing there?"

"Waiting for my bestie." He chuckles that I do really love the most. "Let's go?"

"Yeah, let's go."

For three months being friends with him, I did know the tackles of his life, his problems, his wholesome tale of life. But little he did not know that my heart and mind was into him. And the problem is, I can't confess because he sees me as his bestie or should I say, as his friend.

It hurts seeing and treating as his friend only yet even you have feelings falling for him. But I'm a scared cat whom can't seize up into darkness. And I do really am. My gosh, how can I stick with it? How can I confess? How? Tsk.

We walked through the school premises and we saw Dominique's filthy eyes howling around like an owl on a branch of a tree. "So, kailangan ba ang pag-amin? Kailan mo ba sasabihin na may gusto ka sa kanya, Koa?" Her filthy mouth is now dusting my whole morning day, what a freak!

"Look, if you're too bored of your life, never include others. Because we doesn't even include you to the most darkest and evilness time, okay?" I clenched my jaw and raised my right eyebrows. "Ikaw ba? Kailan ka aamin na tanga tanga kang gaga ka at napaka-immature mo? Waiting ako sa confession mo. Baka ako pa ang maging nag-iisang makikinig sa kagagahan mo. Hay nako naman."

Umalis na kaming dalawa ni Orion, while her anger for me is rising, is she? hahaha, well I think she is now. It's been three months and now? We're on the midst of danger. Lalo na't malapit na ang prefinals and semi final exams namin. Kaya kailangan kong pagbutihin dahil kung hindi? Nako, magyayabang na naman yan si Dom na kesyo mas magaling siya na kesyo mas matalino siya. My gosh. Nakakasawa na makinig.

Kakatapos lang ng lessons namin and it's all about “Child Abuse.” It do help me realize that hindi puro pananakit ang pwedeng maging sanhi nang child abuse. Minsa'y panghihipo, pang-babastos lalo na kapag minor de edad pa siya. And it do makes me realize a lot, lalo na yung ibang bata hindi nagsasalita dahil sa takot nila tungkol sa mga possibilities na ginagawad ng mga gumagawa nito sa kanila.

"Tara sa canteen?" Orion smiled and winked at me. "Treat ko."

"Kapag libre, why not hindi ba?! Hahahaha." He burst into laughter after what I said.

Pagkalabas namin sa classroom, bumungad sa amin ang isang babaeng halos humandusay na sa harapan ng hallway, maingat kaming tumabi at nag-obserba kung bakit nga ba sila nag-aaway. It's like parang may something na hindi ko malaman pero pumunta ako sa harapan at hinarangan ang kawawang co-student ko kaya maraming students pa ang pumaligid sa amin.

Tumayo ako at nasa likuran ko yung kawawang student na iyon habang nakatingin sa akin sa malayo si Orion na gusto akong lapitan pero sumisenyas niya akong huwag na siyang lumapit pa.
