When Worlds Collide

Chapter 2

"So we meet again." Carina says flirtatiously.

Maya continues to devour Carina with her eyes, not trying to hide it. She has had a few drinks and is feeling the effects of the alcohol in her system.

Carina is also feeling the effects of the alcohol, as she is waiting on her third glass of wine.

The bartender hands Carina the two beers and her wine. Just as Carina was going to pay, Maya hands him a $20.

"On me." Maya says.

"Oh, no, you really don't have to." Carina says frantically.

"Carina, don't worry about it. Its my treat." Maya says.

"Well thank you, but I must be getting back to my friends." Carina exclaims.

"Who are you here with?" asked Maya.

Carina pointed to her table as she spoke, "Just two of my coworkers from the school. Teachers too." Carina said. Maya looked at Teddy and Amelia, noticing how they are staring at her and Carina smiling.

"Are you here with anyone?" Carina asked, wondering who the woman next to her was.

"Uh, yeah, this is my...friend...another client." Maya said slowly pointing to the brunette next to her.

"I think I am a little more than just a client, don't you think Maya? Hi, I'm Charlotte, her sex buddy." Charlotte says as she reaches her hand out for Carina to shake. Charlotte smiles jealously, seeing how Maya just paid for Carinas drinks and was flirting with her. Maya looks down and grimaces her face, not wanting Carina to think she's a player.

"Oh, uh, nice to meet you. I'm Carina, a client of Maya's." Carina says as she extends her hand out to shake Charlotte's hand. Maya trying to ignore the whole situation happening.

"I am going to use the restroom quick, be right back babe." Charlotte says as she kisses Mayas cheek and makes eye contact with Carina the whole time. When Charlotte walks away, Maya turns to Carina.

"Sorry about that, it's not really what you think. She's is nothing more than just a couple casual hook ups." Maya says as she looks at Carina.

"I am not one to judge, people have needs, even me." Carina says, but she can't help but feel a little jealous, though she has no right to be jealous. Maya was just her agent. Maya felt a flutter in her stomach when Carina mentioned she has needs.

"Though, you might want to clarify that with her, she seems to think there is more than that." Carina said and chuckled.

"Yeah....I've noticed." Maya said with a disappointed look on her face.

"Well I should be going back to my friends now, have a GREAT night." Carina winked as she said GREAT, and walked away to her friends, Maya watching her the whole time.

Once Carina sat down at the booth, she noticed Teddy and Amelia both smirking at her. "Well, how did it go?" Amelia asked as she took a drink from her new beer.

"Well she's not straight." Carina groaned.

"Well that's good, right?" Teddy asked.

"Yeah, but that woman next to her is her sex buddy." Carina said as she looked at Maya. Right when she looked at Maya she noticed Maya had her eyes on her the whole time, not looking away and still eyeing her up with a smirk. Carina felt hot and couldn't help a fluttering feeling in her stomach with the way Maya looked at her.

"Wait, she said that?!" Teddy yelled.

"Her sex buddy did." Carina said. "Seemed like she wanted to rub it in my face." Carina continued. Teddy and Amelia looked at each other and then back at Carina.
