It's Sunday morning and it has been two days since Maya and Carina made up. They spent the whole weekend together at Maya's place, not leaving for a second. They wanted to stay in their own little bubble, continuing to build their connection. They cuddled all weekend on the couch, and shared multiple kisses, but nothing went further as they were still trying to mend things completely and get back to where they were before. Though, they both felt like they were stronger than ever after building their trust and honesty with each other after the Charlotte situation.

Maya woke up before Carina, and was facing her with her hands on Carina's face, stroking her cheek. Their faces were an inch apart, and Maya admired the sleeping beauty next to her. She took in all of Carina's details and facial features, trying to imprint them in her mind forever. She couldn't help but smile, knowing that the woman she is falling in love with also feels the same about her. After awhile, Carina opened her eyes.

"How long have you been watching me sleep?" Carina slightly smiled as she stretched her arms out.

"For awhile." Maya said softly.

Carina placed her arm around Maya's small fit body.
"Well stop that. I'm probably such an ugly sleeper."

"Are you kidding me? You are the most beautiful sleeper I've ever seen." Maya responded as she continued stroking Carina's cheek.

"Ehhh, second cutest. You take the number one spot for most beautiful sleeper." Carina muttered.

Maya smiled and shook her head. "Not true, but I will take it." Maya started to lean in to try to capture Carina's lips.

"Ugh, no." Carina groaned as she pulled her head back slightly.

"What? You don't want to kiss me?" Maya asked shocked.

"No no I do, but I have morning breath. You know how I feel about that. Let me brush my teeth first." Carina muttered.

Maya rolled her eyes and leaned in again. "Baby I told you, I really don't care. I have morning breath too but it doesn't bother me. Nothing about you bothers me." Maya smirked as she captured their lips together in a soft kiss.

"Mhmm." Carina moaned with surprise and pulled back slightly again. "Fine, just no tongue."

Maya laughed and rolled over on top of Carina. "Yes tongue." Maya playfully said as she grabbed Carina's jaw with both hands and stuck her tongue out, trying to get in Carina's mouth.

Carina moved her head from side to side, trying to dodge Maya's tongue. "Maya! Hahaha stop!" Carina giggled. Carina finally gave up since Maya was stronger and quicker. Carina stuck her tongue out and they playfully touched tongues lightly.

"Happy?" Carina asked.

"I want more tongue, but I can compromise and be happy with that." Maya smiled.

They spent their morning in bed with giggles, chit chat, and goofing off.

"As much as I want to stay here all day and night again with you, I do need to get home." Carina pouted. "I'm back at school tomorrow and I have lots of grading and lesson plans to get done."

"I understand baby, I can take you home whenever." Maya responded. "I also have some work to get done. I might be selling a 5 million dollar house this week!" Maya cheered excitingly.

"Hmmm my sugar mama." Carina jokingly said.

Maya rolled her eyes and laughed. "We both are. You are a teacher, part business owner of the best Italian restaurant in town, and have a huge inheritance."

"You also coach." Carina said.

"I don't make much coaching. That's more of an extra curricular or leisure activity for me. Though I don't know if I'm going to do it this year." Maya said sadly.
