When Worlds Collide

Chapter 28

It's been two weeks since the championship game. The week following their big win, Maya and the team were welcomed back by their school with a pep rally, celebrating the schools first State Championship. Maya also had to do a couple more interviews for sports broadcasters and news articles.

But now her and Carina have settled back into their normal lives. Maya was done coaching for the season and was back at the Real Estate Firm at her full time hours. Her and Carina got into a good schedule. They would work their normal 8-4 pm job, then come home and spend time together and have dinner, followed by cuddles and sometimes sex. Maya had more free time now that she was only working her one job, and she sometimes had to go do showings in the evenings for her clients, otherwise the couple had a good system down.

"Babe did you throw away the razor?" Maya yelled from the shower, while Carina was in the bedroom getting ready for work as well.

"Shoot I did. It was getting dull. Let me grab another one for you." Carina spoke as she went into the bathroom and grabbed another razor. She opened the shower door to hand to Maya.

"Damn." Carina whispered in a raspy voice as she eyed her girlfriend.

"It's nothing you haven't seen before." Maya chuckled as she grabbed the razor.

"I know, but I still am in awe every time." Carina responded. She leaned forward a tiny bit to give Maya a quick kiss, which the blonde obliged.

Carina was now putting her makeup on in their bedroom while Maya was getting dressed.

"Have you seen my favorite blue button up shirt?" Maya asked as she stood by Carina, only wearing her black tight skirt and a lace black bra.

"You better not be going to work looking like that." Carina said as she looked at Mayas boobs spilling out of her top.

"Hence why I'm looking for my blue shirt silly. Have you seen it?" Maya chuckled.

"It's hanging up in the laundry room." Carina smiled. Before Maya could walk away, the brunette leaned forward and kissed each breast that was popping out of the lace bra. Maya rolled her eyes playfully then went to retrieve her shirt.

Both of them were now finished getting ready and we're in the kitchen getting coffee.

"What do you want for breakfast?" Maya asked as she poured them two cups of coffees in their thermos.

"Ugh not hungry. Coffee is fine today." Carina said disgusted.

"What? You always eat breakfast, it's your favorite." Maya said.

"I know. I'm just a little nauseous and don't have an appetite." Carina said.

"Are you feeling alright baby?" Maya asked as she walked up to Carina.

"I'm fine. I just feel tired and don't have an appetite. I will be okay." Carina spoke as she gave Maya a kiss on the cheek.

"Carina...you are burning up." Maya said as she felt carinas cheeks and forehead.

"I never get sick. I've just been running around this morning getting ready. Don't worry." Carina said. "I'm probably hot and flustered from seeing you looking this sexy all the time." Carina winked as she eyed her girlfriend and grabbed her ass.

"Stop playing." Maya slightly chuckled. "You don't seem fine. Why don't you take off today, you definitely have a fever." Maya said more concerned.

"Nope I'm tough. I will probably be fine in an hour." Carina said as she sipped her coffee.

"You remind me of me right now. You think you are invincible and always try to be tough. But I really think you should stay home love. I can stay home with you and take care of you." Maya suggested.
