Chapter 11

"Hey, Carina. Babe wake up." Maya whispered to Carina as she sat beside her sleeping body. She placed a freshly made espresso on the bed night stand.

"Hmm?" Carina stretched her arms as she woke up, yawning.

"I have to go to work. You are welcome to stay here if you want. It would be nice to come home to you" Maya smirked as she gave Carina a kiss on her cheek. "but I know you don't have your car so if you need to go home I can drive you there now? Whatever you want." Maya said as she placed another kiss but this time on Carina's forehead. Carina noticed Maya was ready for work, having her hair in loose short curls, light makeup, and a tight navy blue suit set. Carina bit her lip, noticing how sexy Maya looked.

Carina placed her hand behind Maya's neck and pulled her into a rushed kiss, "are you sure you don't want to stay?" Carina said flirtatiously.

Maya pulled away from the kiss slightly with a smile, "I really wish I could but I already took off yesterday...I have a showing this morning and again after lunch." Maya tucked Carina's hair behind her ear.

"Okay. I will just stay here, if I need to go somewhere I can just have Teddy or Amelia come pick me up since they are off work too." Carina responded.

"Sounds good beautiful. Make yourself comfortable. If you need to shower, need clothes, or want to make food, then help yourself to whatever's mine. I made you an espresso coffee." Maya pointed to the coffee and stood up.

"Thank you bambina, I will miss you. One more kiss before you leave." Carina said as she sat up.

Maya smiled and placed her hand on Carina's cheek, leaning down and kissed Carina's soft lips. Carina moaned into the soft kiss, not wanting to break apart.

Maya broke apart from the kiss slightly, "I will miss you too, Ms. Deluca." Maya said and then she playfully grabbed Carina's jaw and bit her neck slightly. Carina laughed and pushed her away.

"Go or else you will be late for work!" Carina laughed. Maya smirked and turned around, Carina slapped her butt as she walked away.

"Watch it Deluca." Maya winked as she left to go to work. Carina flopped back down on the bed with a smile plastered on her face. She hasn't been this happy since her mama passed, and she knew it was all because of the blonde.

Carina woke up after going back to sleep for another hour after Maya left for work. When she woke up, she brushed her teeth and took a shower. She threw on a pair of Maya's black jogger sweatpants, and one of her grey Nike crew neck sweatshirts. She made herself some toast and eggs, then finished her expresso coffee while sitting on Maya's couch and watching TV. As she was sitting there, she got a text.

Teddy: Hey Carina! Amelia and I were wondering if you wanted to get lunch with us today? We are going to a new cafe that just opened up.

Carina: I would love too but I don't have a car.....I'm at Maya's place.

Teddy: No worries! We can pick you up and drive you! Then we can bring you back to Maya's after if you want?

Carina: That sounds good!

Teddy: We will pick you up at 11:30 am! Send me Maya's address.

Carina sent her the address and relaxed on the couch the rest of the morning.

Teddy: Be there in 5 minutes!

Carina grabbed Maya's spare key to the house and made sure to lock up the house. In perfect timing, Teddy pulled into the driveway with Amelia in the passengers seat. Carina locked the front door and ran to the car, hopping in the backseat.
