TW: talks of miscarriage

It's been two weeks since their getaway. These past two weeks have been extremely busy for the couple. They have been moving Maya into Carina's house little by little, with the help of their friends here and there.

They also have been busy with work. Third quarter has started for Carina at the school, so she has some new students and new classes. Maya's basketball season is in full swing, and they are at their busiest part of their season. They are 11-1, only losing to the Glendale Tigers still, but they are playing against each other again next week. With their busy schedules, they haven't been able to talk yet about Maya's miscarriage, which Maya doesn't know that Carina knows about it. Carina knows that the blonde will talk to her when she's ready, but she is getting impatient and wants to know what happened.

"Is that the last of it?" Andrew said as he put down the last box of Maya's stuff in the living room.

"Yes that's it. The rest of my stuff I'm selling along with the house." Maya spoke. "Thank you for all your help." Maya smiled.

"It's no problem, anything for my sister and my future sister in law." Andrew winked at the couple. Carina forced a smile, while Maya beamed with joy.

"We can handle the rest from here, thanks Andrea." Carina said as she hugged her brother.

"See you later." Andrew said as he left Carina's place.

"So what exactly are you doing with your place?" Carina asked.

"Well I'm going to put it up for sale this week, Andy is going to be my realtor. I don't have time to sell my house so she's going to handle everything for me to take the stress off me. Hopefully I can get it sold within the month." Maya responded.

"Perfect." Carina said. Maya looked at her confused.

"Is everything okay?" Maya asked.

"Um yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" Carina questioned.

"I don't know....you just seem off. Quiet. Short with me, lately." Maya spoke sadly.

"It's nothing." Carina said as she looked down and didn't make eye contact with Maya. "I'm just also stressed with work, and I'm tired. Let's get you unpacked." Carina said as she kissed Maya's cheek and picked up a box to unpack. Maya looked at her confused, because she could tell something was wrong, but ignored it for now because they have things to do.

Maya was sat at her desk at work with Andy and Vic sitting on her couch. It was a slower day at the office, so they conversed with each other.

"Hi little baby." Vic said in a kid voice as she rubbed Andy's stomach.

"They are getting big aren't they?" Andy said as she stared down at herself.

"Your boobs?" Vic asked as she stared at Andy's boobs. "Yeah they kind of are."

"No! My baby!" Andy said as she slapped Vics hand. "Though, yeah those are getting big too. I find out the gender tomorrow, so until then it's a they." Andy remarked.

"I think Carina regrets me moving in." Maya interrupted randomly as she was staring off into space in her own thoughts. Both Andy and Vic whipped their heads towards Maya.

"What makes you think that?" Andy asked.

"It's just...." Maya took a deep breath. "She's been so short and quiet with me ever since New Years. She barely talks to me, she barely even looks at me, and we haven't had sex since then."
