When Worlds Collide

Chapter 25

It was now Monday, the day Maya was going to show Callie and Arizona a house. Carina and Maya spent their Sunday recovering since they didn't sleep Saturday due to late night activities. They cuddled on the couch watching TV most of Sunday, while working on their laptops. Carina graded assignments while Maya did some contracts and watched game film since playoffs start this week.

It was the end of the day and Maya was at the house waiting for Arizona and Callie. She liked the couple, but she was nervous without Carina for some reason. The brunette has become a security blanket for the blonde, so she looked down at her new ring that had Carinas birthday and fiddled with it, bringing her at ease.

Meanwhile Callie was running out the school, running into Carina in the hallway.

"Hey Carina! I'm just about to go see your girlfriend." Callie said excitingly.

"Yes that's right! Well I hope it's the right house for you guys, but Maya is great at her job so I have no doubt." Carina smiled.

"Thank you. I really hope it's the right house for us. I don't think Arizona and I can live in a tiny apartment for much longer together ." Callie laughed awkwardly. "But I should get going, Maya mentioned she has basketball practice soon and I don't want to be late! So I will you tomorrow!" Callie yelled as she ran out of the school.

"I can't believe you used to fuck her wife." Amelia said as she was nearby.

"Shut up." Carina chuckled. "I didn't just have sex with her, we dated. It's a bit odd, I never expected this to happen, but here we are."

"And Maya is good with it? I know you mentioned you guys are getting dinner together soon. Won't it be weird?" Amelia asked.

"Maya's been amazing actually. She only got a tiny bit jealous when Arizona was looking at me flirty one time, but otherwise she's been good with it all." Carina responded.

"Why would Arizona flirt with you when she has a wife?" Amelia asked.

"I don't know, it was just this look she had. I mean she is married for crying out loud. Plus she married the woman she left me for and went back to. But it was a little weird. I choose to ignore it and just focus on Maya, she's all I want." Carina smiled.

"I know. Hey you guys are going to Andy's baby shower this weekend right?" Amelia asked.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world! I can't believe she's 6 months pregnant already." Carina said excitingly.

"The baby will be here before we know it." Amelia smiled. "I have to go meet Jackson, see you later Deluca." Amelia said as she left.

"Here is the Master bedroom. All hardwood floors like the rest of the house and it has a massive on suite connected to it." Maya explained to Callie and Arizona as she walked around the bedroom.

"Wow this is beautiful." Callie said as she looked around in awe. Maya noticed that Arizona kept looking at her throughout the tour, almost like she was scoping Maya out. "What do you think babe?"

"Umm yeah." Arizona said as she was broken out of her trance. "It's perfect."

They walked around the house some more and asked Maya any questions they had.

"So what do you think?" Maya asked.

"I think we want to put an offer on it." Callie said excitingly.

"Yes absolutely." Arizona responded.

"Amazing, this really is an amazing house and it seems perfect for you guys." Maya responded.

"Our daughter will love it!" Callie said.
