Huh Ive realized that Ive written a bunch of dex pov chapters lately. Well, here's one more!
"Dexy," Keefe whined through the imparter. "I heard Foster teleported you and you didn't even come visit!"
"Clingy," Dex muttered fondly, his hand twitching to muss his hair-only to remember that Keefe wasn't actually present. "How'd you hear about that anyway?"
"Triplets, obviously," Keefe replied. "I went over and the first thing I heard was Rex bragging about how you visited."
"How often do you visit my house when I'm not there?" Dex asked.
He shrugged. "At least once a week?"
"Huh," he said.
It was kind of odd, honestly, hearing that. Not that many people were fans of his family, and only really sought them out when they needed an elixir or something like that.
"Is it weird that I do that?" Keefe asked.
"No, it isn't," Dex said, "it's nice, actually. They'd definitely love you for it. I think it's cute that you hang out with my family."
"They're nice," Keefe said fondly. "They're nice people, and they're also so fun to be around. You wouldn't believe how inspiring your dad is when it comes to pranking."
Dex snorted. "Suddenly I'm having second thoughts."
"Too late, your parents love me, I love them, therefore no refunds."
"Damn," Dex said jokingly.
Keefe laughed. "Wait-I got distracted from what I was originally gonna say! How come you didn't come visit me?"
"It was just a short visit," Dex said seriously, "and it wasn't as selfish as your usual visits are. Besides, if Rex hasn't said why, I'm not gonna say much for his sake."
Keefe blinked. "Oh. I think I get it. Any way I can help?"
Dex felt warm at this, of him wanting to be helpful to his family. "Don't do much differently. That'll just make it worse."
Keefe nodded. "Got it!"

There was the very faint sound of thunder, and at this point, Dex was just used to it. He just moved his belongings aside so Keefe and Sophie could have a good landing.
"You've been doing a lot of teleporting lately, Sophie," Dex said, "considering you were complaining about how annoying it was and how we'd eventually get in trouble-"
Dex stopped talking, surprised.
"This is different," Sophie said, moving to shove the three bodies off of her. "This is worse than teleporting Keefe. I'm not doing this again."
"C'mon, Keefe does it all the time!" Lex whined.
"This is favoritism," Rex grumbled.
"Unlike Keefe, we're your cousins," Bex added.
"Yeah, well, Keefe's basically a cousin now since he's dating Dex. If they were married he'd be my cousin-in-law."
"Siblings," all three triplets murmured at once. "He's our sibling now."
"Sorry Dex, Keefe's the cool brother now," Bex said.
"Are you saying I'm not cool???"
"What do you mean Dex isn't cool???"
"So," Dex interrupted, choosing to ignore the previous conversation, "did you three just come here to yell at each other..?"
"We just wanted to bother you," Bex replied, blunt as ever. "Y'know, as our duty as your siblings."
