Brendon pov

September 23
Today is my wedding with Ryan.
I still can't believe this day has come. A lot has happened between us. Like any couple we've had our ups and downs, but love has won.
I stand in front of the mirror and comb my hair as Ryan looks into the dressing room.
- How are the preparations going? - he asks.
- Good, how about you? - I answer and turn to him.
- I'm good, too. - He smiles and grabs my hands. - I'm nervous, even though I know there's nothing to be nervous about...
- Of course you have nothing to be stressed about. This is our day. We are going to celebrate our love. - I'm laughing. - Let me help you. - I take a hairbrush and gently brush my fiancé's hair.
I don't even notice when Jake walks into the dressing room with his camera and snaps a few pictures.
- How cute you guys are... - says Chams.
- Are my loves ready? - my mom also looks into the dressing room.
- I think so - I answer and put the brush aside.
My mother comes up to us. She first fixes my shirt collar and then smooths Ryan's jacket with her hand.
- You two look perfect now - she says and turns to leave. - I'll see you there. Your limo is waiting. - she adds and leaves.
- I'm going too. - Jake announces and disappears out the door.
I smile at Ryan.
- Ryan, I want you to know that I love you very much. You are the most important to me. The wedding is just a formality, so don't worry if you get nervous and forget your vows or make a mistake. - I say, holding his hands gently.
- I know, Brendon. You've told me that more than once. - He laughs. - I love you more than life. You're my light in the darkness, B.
- Oh Ryan, I get too emotional. - I wink at him. - We should get going, but first... One last kiss as an engaged couple - I kiss him tenderly.
After the kiss we stand in silence for a moment, looking into each other's eyes and smiling. I've never been more sure of something than that Ryan is the love of my life.

- - -

A limousine, which is actually Ryan's Pontiac decked out, takes us to the venue. Our "chauffeur" is Zack, and next to him in the front seat sits Jake with a camera. Chams gets out first and positions himself with the lens towards the back door. Zack opens the door on Ryan's side and lets us out. Ryro gets out, turns towards me and gives me a hand. I take his hand gently and get out of the vehicle. We walk down a few steps to the beach, where between the rows of chairs, a soft white carpet is spread out leading directly to the wedding arch. Everything looks exactly as I dreamed it would. We stop at the beginning of the carpet. My parents and Mr. Berg walk up to us.
- Are you ready? - Anthony asks.
- Yes. - I reply.
- Ryan, do you still want me to walk you to the wedding? - asks Tony.
- Sure I do - Ryan replies and grabs Berg's arm.
Tony and Ryan set off first. When they stop at the wedding arch, Berg says something else to Ryan and steps aside. Beloved turns toward me and I know it's my turn. With Mom on my right and Dad on my left, I walk confidently, smiling at the wedding guests. Mom passes my hand to Ryan.
- Take care of him as he will take care of you. - she says, and Dad hands her a tissue so she can wipe away a single tear of emotion.
I smile at Ryan and together we turn toward the officiant.
The wedding ceremony begins. The officiant speaks first about what marriage is, the responsibilities that come with it, and adds a few words of his own. Then it is time to say the vows.
- Jeez, I'm stressed - Ryan whispers to me.
- You have nothing to be stressed about. - I smile and shake his hand gently.
- Brendon, ever since you came into my life I've had a genuine affection for you. We started out as friends and I wouldn't have thought of you as someone more than that, but amor hit me with his arrow. With every look at you I fell more in love. Each secret meeting fueled the flame of our love. Despite the problems and doubts we managed to reinvent love. A love as calm as the ocean, as fiery as the sky at sunset, as limitless and infinite as the universe. I love you and will always love you. I promise to do everything I can to make sure that you are happy and feel safe by my side, and that no one or nothing can keep us apart. - Ryan says, and his gaze is full of love.
- Ryan, from the day I met you, I knew you were special. I fell in love with you at first sight, although I wasn't immediately aware of it. There were many obstacles in our path, but we overcame them all and our love is stronger because of it. I promise to love and respect you always. I will be with you for good and for bad times and even death will not separate us. - I say the words of my vow.
- In view of the unanimous affidavit of both parties, made in the presence of witnesses, I declare that the marriage of Mr. Brendon and Mr. Ryan has been lawfully contracted. As a symbol of your union, please exchange the rings. - Announces the clerk.
Spencer hands us the rings. They are personalized. Mine has a sunstone, Ryan's has a moonstone.
Ryan takes a gold ring from a white pillow and turns to me.
- Brendon, accept this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity - he places the ring on my finger.
- Ryan, accept this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. - I say and place the ring on Ryan's finger.
I let go of my love's hand to embrace his waist and pull him closer to me. I place a kiss on his lips and Ryan returns the kiss.
- I ask the newly married and the best man to sign the marriage certificate. - our moment is interrupted by the clerk's voice.
One by one we sign. When the marriage certificate is signed, we line up for a photo. Ryan and I are officially married.
