Epilogue

Brendon pov

For our honeymoon, Ryan and I went to Hawaii, to a private villa with a rooftop pool.
We sit on the terrace looking at the ocean, eating local delicacies. I pull a Hawaiian flower from a vase and place it behind Ryan's ear.
- You look gorgeous with this flower, honey - I say and kiss him.
Ryan takes another flower from the vase and puts it behind my ear.
- Now you have a flower to complete with me, my dear husband. - He kisses me.
- Aren't you surprised that there have been so many weddings lately...? Us, Z and Nick, Sarah and Dan, and Jake and Stephanie.
- I wonder who's next... - Ryan interjects. - I've actually grown fond of attending weddings - he adds and eats a coconut cookie.
- Really? Then I'll have to get my Vros to get married sooner - I laugh.
- But I guess you'll enjoy your husband now, huh? - He winks at me.
- I will enjoy you, Ryan, for the rest of my life - I grab his hand. - I love you and I've never been happier than with you.
- And I am very happy with you, B. You taught me what true love is, so I can say with certainty that I truly love you. - He smiles at me.
Everything has begun to fall into place and it is better than I could have imagined.
But it's not just our lives that are so colorful...
Sarah has also found happiness. Dan love her very much, and she love him back. And it turns out my ex-wife isn't so bad after all, and we're friends now.
And Jake and Stephanie want to start a family, so I have to take my time with the next album, because Chams, as the photographer for Panic! doesn't want to miss the tour.
- Honey - Ryan's voice snaps me out of my reverie.
- Yes, sunshine - I reply.
- Why don't we go for a walk? - he suggests.
- I'd love to - I get up from the table with him.
We go down some steps to the beach. We walk along the coast. Ryan locks our fingers together. I smile even more.

The sun is hiding behind the horizon, music playing softly in the background. I swim up to the edge of the pool and embrace Ryan from behind.
- It's a beautiful view, isn't it? - I say, staring at the sunset.
- It's more beautiful here - Ryan laughs, turning to face me and kissing me tenderly.
- Will you always love this view the most? - I say, pointing to myself.
- Always - he kisses me again.
- And I will always love looking at you, baby - I reply and snuggle into him.
I feel happy and safe in Ryan's arms. Despite the ups and downs, we have developed a strong relationship based on trust. And most importantly, we reinvented love.

And that's the end of this FF
Whole story was written almost 3 years, from Prologue on April 19th 2019 till Epilogue on December 19th 2021. Through the process of writting a lot changed, some ideas were scrapped, but who knows if they won't appear in new story?
