"I think I love you,"
She said in the dark,
Her eyes on the stars
That shone over the park.
She couldn't keep waiting
And holding her tongue,
She couldn't pretend
Just because they were young.
For love knows no limits,
No numbers, no years,
Love only knows laughter,
It only knows tears.
It only knows music
And songs meant for two,
It only knows me
And it only knows you.
So holding her close,
With his smile aglow,
He whispered, "I don't think I love you.
I know."
