Sleep little baby,
Lie so still
There's light in your eyes
And dreams to fulfill.
Keep close those who love you
Stay kind and stay calm,
Rest little girl,
In the Angel's Palm.
Keep hope in your pocket,
Keep worry at bay,
Remember the words
That will guide you by day.
There's always a reason
For things right and wrong,
So rest now, in peace,
In the Angel's Palm.
I'll freeze the picture,
I'll stop time,
I'll wish for the days
When you were mine.
Rest in the meadow,
The branches weep.
The roses will guard you
And guide you to sleep.
