Will you still love me
When I am no longer a mystery?
When you know all of my secrets,
All of my desires? Will you still love me
When you've seen me at my worst?
With my raw and real emotions
With my fear and my rage? Will you still love me
When my hair is going gray?
With no makeup on my face
And wrinkles in my skin? Will you still love me
When my once endearing quirks
Don't make you smile anymore?
When my singing gives you headaches
And my jokes aren't funny? Will you still love me
When you've gotten used to me?
When our love isn't a fire
But just a candle in the rain?© 2015
