I wander through the wonders
Of the life in front of me.
I whisper to the future,
"What have you in store for me?"I wake from endless daydreams
As I walk from here to there,
Imagining what's waiting
In the years to come, I dare.I see wonders before me
Pleasant summers, winters, springs,
And woven in tomorrow's days
Are songs my spirit sings.Of course there will be sadness
Life's not free from stormy weather,
But wisdom comes with sorrow
And that gift will last forever.I open up my wings
To a future that is bright,
For I wish for kind tomorrows
And to wander in the light.© 2015
