I was shooting arrows in the dark,
Listening to words that left me feeling haunted,
I was building up a house of cards,
I knew it wouldn't last, but at the time, it's all I wantedTill one day
You blew me a breath of fresh air
Knocking down my tower,
Knocking down the walls so high
And baby,
Turns out all that I needed,
Was someone who could show me,
That the light I need is found inside.I realized that I gotta be my own bright side.
Maybe it's the truth that love's a lie
But I think it's the realest thing I've ever come to know.
It may be fate, or maybe stars aligned,
But darlin' near or far, I'll never let you stand alone.Cause one day
You blew me a breath of fresh air
Knocking down my tower,
Knocking down the walls so high
And baby,
Turns out all that I needed,
Was someone who could show me,
That the light I need is found inside.I realized that I gotta be my own bright side.
