Today,
Spending time with your mother
Feels like a chore.
Tomorrow,
It will be a memory.Today,
You are afraid to sing outloud
Because it is embarassing.
Tomorrow,
Fear will be your biggest regret.Today,
Playing with your siblings
Is simply a pain.
Tomorrow,
They will not be children anymore.Today,
You never bother to ask your grandparents
About "the good old days".
Tomorrow,
They may not be there to answer you.Today,
You are afraid to take risks
And go on an adventure.
Tomorrow,
You will have no stories to tell.Today,
You are only a child
And future seems distant.
Tomorrow,
You will realize the future is now.Today,
You have the chance
To live the life you've imagined.
Tomorrow,
Will you look back and smile?© 2015
