If I lost you, I'd surely lose myself completely...

Part 2

   My feet slowed down their speedy walk to the destination that resided on the paper; Crissy's Apartment - hoping it would give me some indication on where she went. The hallway to her door was filthy as if the residents didn't care for a trashcan. I quickly let my fist beat against the door in hopes she was just at home sick, but as my fist contacted the wooden object it slipped from its frame creaking open to a chaotic scene. The room was in ruins - her coffee table flipped on its side so all of its items were thrown about, her curtains ripped from their handles. My eyes drifted to her kitchen noting the open fridge and all its contents littered the floor, as well as the kitchen sink was left running. I hopped over the broken dishes and papers to turn all the water before I made my way to her room, as my heart began to race. The bedroom looked untouched compared to the rest of the house causing my mind to wander. Did someone break in? Nothing looks stolen just messed up, but why is her room clean? Who goes out of their way to empty a fridge but doesn't check every room? My eyes scanned for any information that could lead to me the missing woman - it was like someone snapped their fingers as all my attention shifted to a small wad of paper that rested on her nightstand by her housephone. My eye taking out from under me as I ran around the bed to snatch it up.

'Come to XXX, past the red light distract. The big warehouse, you know where. Don't be late'

My eyes read over the words on the paper to many times to count as my brain tried to understand why Crissy listened to such a stupid letter. Once I memorized it, I tossed it back over my shoulder as I left her apartment to the location written on the paper. Please Crissy be okay!

(SILCO'S POINT OF VIEW)

"What's wrong? Upset Phoenix spends most of her time in a place like this?" Sevika teased as she turned to look back at me.

"Yes" I wasn't going to deny it. What was there to hide? The thought of Phoenix spending her time and money on these...people, made my skin crawl - they just wanted to use her. None of them actually cared about her wellbeing.

"Oh- I'm going to be honest. I didn't expect you to admit it so easily" Sevika froze. I only watched her movements while my hands resided in my pockets. My gaze shifting down to 5'3 teen to my right: Jinx.

"You stay out here with Sevika"

"What? No I want to go in and help find Pho-"

"Jinx, I'm not letting you enter...this kind of business. Sevika watch her" I ordered before turning back to face the door not wanting to deal with a protesting blue haired girl - as well as the giant of a woman who bickered about watching her. I slipped inside before they could convince me other wise letting my eyes adjust to the darker atmosphere. My eyes quickly scanning through each room until I found Phoenix or Babette; whichever one comes first. I quickly marched to the bar area of the brothel my eyes landing on the pink skinned Yordle. Her eyes widening in fear as they spotted me.

"S-Silco!" she almost hissed out, her workers glancing between her and me before she waved them all to leave. "Why are you here? You never come her-"

"So then let's make this quick, I rather leave. Where is she?"

"Who" she asked she took a long drag from her pipe, as she sat on her bar counter. I had to keep my brows from twitching at her childish response.

"You know who, Phoenix. Who else?" I sighed as my eyes rolled around to the workers who had snuck back to listen to our conversation, while she only shrugged at the name. My patience was dwindling - quickly. I marched over to my counter my right hand coming down hard as my left reached up to fix any loose hairs that may have broke free. "Babette, I'm not here to play your spy games" I spat bitterly watching her gaze shift from my closed fist to my face.
