Feeling drowsy, I opened my eyes to someone sitting across from me.There was muffled music playing as I was gaining my consciousness back. I looked around, vision still blurry. My ears were ringing so I tried to cover them but I couldn't move my hands. I looked down and saw they were cuffed, but with some sort of black metal. I felt weak, so I couldn't even move my mouth to say something. What even happened?.

"Ah aileen your awake!" The person in front of me said.

I tried to look at the person in front of me but the lights in this room were too bright. I moved my mouth but nothing came out.

"That's alright Aileen, I know your feeling weak right now" they said.

I tried moving my hands again but it wasn't working.

"Aileen, I'm going to need you to stop fighting for now, once you are fully lucid we can inform you of everything".

Dropping my head I ignored them. I didn't want to stay here. I wanted to be alone. I looked down searching for a weak spot in the chains. I don't know what one looks like, but it couldn't be that hard. My hair fell onto my face and I jerked it away. It took me a bit but I found what looked like a dull color in the chains. I didn't give it another second and kicked the chain breaking it. I got up quickly, stumbling to an exit, but couldn't find one.

"WE NEED BACKUP!!, SHES STILL UNSTABLE!!" The person ordered.

I chose a corner in the place. I was scared, why was I even here. I slid down the wall, feeling people crowd around me. I felt my eyes start to water as my body shook from exhaustion. Why was this happening to me? By this point I was sobbing. I just want to be alone.

That's when I heard a familiar voice. The voice of my guard. It was coming closer to me. Why was it giving comfort? it was closest thing that I needed. I looked in front of me and saw him, panting. He was blurry but he was there.

" your changing again Aileen, I'm going to need you to calm down." He said hurriedly. I tried to stop shaking, but when I looked down I saw what he meant by changing. My skin looked like it was growing scales. I quickly looked away and hid my face into the wall, crying more.

My vision was getting blurry again. I was loosing control again. I was shaking more. It felt like I was growing again. Then I felt hands on my own. I looked down  to see who it was. My guard was trying to help me. I looked him in the eyes. I didn't see him afraid of me. I steadied my breathing, hiccups coming out most of the time. I was calming down. I could see everything clearly again. My shaking was to a minimum. "There you go, Aileen your safe, no need to be scared." He soothed my emotions. I nodded and looked around the room. Guns were being pointed at me, but it didn't bother me.

"I'm... I'm sorry"  whispered.

" it's okay, your scared I know" he whispered back.

I nodded and tried to get up but the guns moved with me so I slid back down. "What happened?" I asked to no one in particular. Then the guns were put down and everyone left.

The room was quite for hours. I was as calm as the moon in the sky. I wanted to leave before, but I guess a quiet room with someone I feel safe with is just as good. There was a tinted window in the room as well,  and I knew people were behind it.

" why did you help me? " I said quietly.

" if I told you, you probably think of me differently" he stated.

"What's your name?". He hesitated but then told me it was Noah.

I nodded and told Noah I wouldn't because he helped me with everything.

"Well I was actually in the room when you were injected with the red liquid, I was suppose to help if anything wrong happened.

When it did I was the one who calmed you down, then someone got too paranoid and shot you with a tranquilizer" he told me.

I nodded processing everything. No wonder why I felt so drowsy.

" do you feel as if I'm dangerous?" I asked bluntly.

He chuckled , ignoring my question.

" I never really looked at myself , I don't even know what I am" I told him.

" you don't need too, we just need to make sure you don't get into that beast state again" he sounded concerned.

I got up from the floor and held my hand out. He took it and I helped him up.

The innercom went off when I was brushing myself off. It said that I would be in containment for the rest of my time here. I shrugged it off knowing it's going to be hell of a boring time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was midnight when I decided to stretch out and do a workout.
Laying in my bed I rolled over and worked on my push-ups. I did about fifty until I  moved onto something else. I was bored so I grabbed one of the books I was provided. Opening the book was the best thing at the moment. The book was a romance book. I was hooked the moment I read the prologue.
By the time I was finished with the book it was seven fifteen in the morning.  I laughed at how I got no sleep because of a stupid romance book. I got up and placed the book back on the table. I turned back around to see a guy with handcuffs ready for me. I looked at them confused, then looked at him.
" OH!! Containment, I see.. I don't need those" I pointed at the cuffs.
He didn't say anything, and it was kind of awkward. I just grabbed my suitcase and the two books.
Containment, so fun.
