It's All Going to Be Okay

it will be okay

Wandering around Felix's house, I figured out the whole perimeter.The house itself was big the land around it went on forever.I found a beautiful maze to walk in near the house.

It was actually easy to go through, and once you find your way there it is a clear pond with a bridge leading to a seating area. It was super cute, so I stayed there for a while, humming.

I was on my way back when I felt arms wrap around my waist. They stopped me from moving and turned me around. I smiled knowing exactly who it was. His face plastered with that warm smile of his he picked up my hand and lead me back downstairs into his office.

I know so little of him and yet he still makes me feel safe, and comfortable.

He dropped my hand and walked behind his desk grabbing a small box. As I waited I looked around the room and observed what was in the place.

  flashes of mirrors and broken shards pop up in front of me and I start panicking. Stepping back I bump into Felix's office couch and fell on top of it. I close my eyes and blink a couple of times. Felix doesn't have mirrors in his office, why are they appearing out of nowhere.  Is it a mind trick?

"Felix!"

He looked at me confused.

I started hyperventilating and shaking as I kept seeing the mirrors. No matter how many times I blinked they were still flashing.

" Aileen!!, hey! hey! hey!, it's okay, your okay, look at me. Hey, look at me!."

I tried to find Felix's face as the mirrors blocked my vision.

I felt Felix's hands on either side of my face. The warmth of his hands were comforting. I focused on them.how they formed along my face. The pressure of them as he tried to keep me from slipping.....

My vision was beginning to clear as my eyes were able to focus on his face. His eyes were fully white and glossed over. It freaked me out until he blinked and they were back to normal.

" Aileen... are you okay, what happened!?"

"I-i I don't know, I just started seeing flashes of mirrors around me and I started panicking!.. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry!!"

" hey, hey, you don't need to be sorry darling, I'm just glad your okay now, why mirrors? How long have you had these hallucinations?"

Felix made sure I was okay before he went to look through a bottle of sorts.

"From what I remember, I have had them since ... I was injected with the black liquid "

I heard multiple bottles fall on the floor and I quickly looked at Felix. He had his hands on the bridge of his nose . He went to pick up the bottles he dropped and then turned to look at me.

" hallucinations is a side effect of Serum HK black and you've been the only one injected with a successful solution "

" What? Felix what are you talking about?"

"Terrence was building this Serum to be able to control and take over all of .... Mutant kind, and you were a successful candidate"

"Your telling me I was going to be part of a army?"

" Yes you were but this still doesn't explain the hallucinations, maybe it still wasn't complete"

" Felix..."

"Hmm?"

" your scaring me"

Felix quickly looked at me and sat down next to me. He picked me up onto his lap and hugged me tightly.
