It's All Going to Be Okay

Punishment.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING AILEEN?!!"

I had the answer to this but the boss said he doesn't like being interrupted so I stayed quiet ,taking note of his question.

"YOU KNOW PEOPLE HATE YOUR KIND, THEY BELIEVE YOUR FREAKS, NOW YOUR ON TV!!, AND EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR IN THIS BUILDING. ITS GOING TO RUIN THIS WHOLE OPERATION"

What he said hurt. Takes me back to that morning. To the treatment I received the day I was changed forever.

"YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO BE KEPT SECRET, BUT THANKS TO YOUR CHILDISH ACTIONS, EVERYONE KNOWS WE HAVE A LARGE MUTATED HYENA IN HERE"

This guy can't be serious.I believe he needs to chill. everyone knows you can't keep a person couped up forever.

" I DONT EVEN WANT TO DEAL WITH YOU RIGHT NOW!!, GUARDS TAKE HER TO HER PUNISHMENT!!"

"Punishment?!! Nooo !! I'm sorry, just please don't hurt me!!"

I was being pulled away, but I was fighting back. I didn't want to taken, I never wanted to be taken.

I refuse to be hurt again. The first time was an accident, my dad was drunk, but now that I'm free from him I don't want to be hurt.

I can see the joy in being in some other place. The joy in which of having a childhood. It was a simple mistake.

The guards stopped fighting me, and I was dropped to the floor. My knees hit the floor hard and I whimpered.

The boss walked towards me and knelt down. He grabbed my chin and whispered in my ear.

"You had your fun, now it's time to grow up, I own you now, your better off that way".

He then shoved me to the guards who steadied me and dragged me out the room. I didn't even fight, I was too stunned by what the boss said. I thought I was free from my father. He will always be with me.

I was thrown onto a chair and had a bright light to my face. I groaned at the impact, and squinted at the light. I shifted around ,uncomfortable, knowing I was going to be here for a long time. I was going to take this like the boss wanted me to. Without hesitation I was strapped down and examined. Waiting for what was going to happen next, I started humming my favorite song to keep me calm. It's the only thing that can keep me calm right now.

" little girl,shut up before you regret it" a female voice threatened.

I ignored the threat and kept at it ,only I was mumbling now. Couple of minutes later, I could actually see the lady now, she was wearing a lab coat. Her eyes a piercing green. Her skin had scales on it , and her nails were sharp. She was like me. She was a freak.... a monster. I froze when we made eye contact. I felt like I needed to run.

" your scared, I know, but you need to take responsssibility of your actions. Your too young to understand why you can't leave, your too young not to be afraid. But once you grow up, you'll be unssstoppable, take me for example, I was sssscared to even look at sssssomeone in the eye.... but now I can't even look away."

As she said that last part I felt high. Everything was moving weirdly, I felt lighter, I could float away even. It was a strange feeling but I couldn't close my eyes or run, so I just laid there, trying not to move. I know I looked dead, expressionless. I couldn't feel anything but happy. My vision went from clear to blurry. I wanted to run now, I was freaking out, but I couldn't scream. The energy, adrenaline, emotions. I couldn't express any of it.

They cut me.

I couldn't feel it

Slit my throat.

Couldn't scream

Punched me.

Blood was everywhere

Sliced my leg

Didn't feel it, until I did.

Pepper sprayed my face

Can't see anymore.

Went through all of it.... looking dead even before I felt dead. Whatever that nurse gave me was wearing off, but I still didn't want to give them a reaction they wanted. If they want an adult ill give them an adult. Anything for the boss. Anything for the feeling of freedom.

It went on for hours, and finally they gave up. By the time they were done, I was cut up, beaten, bloody, and God was I pist.

They unstrapped me and threw me off the chair. Landing on the cold floor covered in my blood. If making an enemy was bad before, it's really bad now. My body was limp but I could see everything. Pepper spray barely did anything to me. I could feel my body healing itself, and it burned. It burned like a bitch but I didn't scream. I didn't scream becuase adults don't scream. Adults take things like it's business. Right now this is business. By the time it ends I'm going to act like it's business.

Punishments gives you a real clear state of mind don't it.
