"As per the events of last year's Halloween, there will be no Halloween ball!" The voice of Slughorn resounded throughout the room. "I and the other teachers have grown tired of planning events for you, where no one respects the rules set!" The students yelled and rioted, anger bounced off the walls.

"A shame, you always look ethereal in your dresses." Regulus winked.

"Go fuck yourself, last year you were a dickhead." Y/N smiled at him. "But you do look proper hot in your tailored suits."

"You're so vulgar... say it again." He smirked.

Y/N merely rolled her eyes and look back up to the front, Slughorn seemed quite awkward – he was positioned next to Dumbledore and his hands shook as the students yelled at him – a sudden silence washed over the disastrous crowd as Dumbledore's voice boomed out across the sea of complaining children:

"You will respect your professors!" He smiled softly after the quiet pursued. "Thank you, now, you are welcome to eat your dinner."

"Fucking finally!" Evan yelled, he piled up as much food as he could on his plate. "Y'know, it was difficult trying to not eat everything in sight!" His stomach grouchily rumbled.

"After the activities from this afternoon I'm not surprised you're hungry." Regulus chuckled, which naturally earned a curious look from the girl situated next to him.

"What was this afternoon?" Y/N asked.

"None of your business." Evan quickly interjected, Regulus gave him a quick glare – which was almost a silent intimation to let her in on whatever they were discussing – "no, she cannot be trusted," Evan began. "I refuse to have us brought down because your Gryffindor dog of a girlfriend insists."

"Watch your tongue, Rosier." Regulus demanded through gritted teeth. "She is one of us."

"Fucking hardly, if Sirius was here she'd kneel to the ground and suck his..."

"Shut up!" Regulus yelled back. "Don't speak about her that way, she's not some common whore, she's a respectable woman." He glared daggers at the boy in front of him. "No woman should be treated like a whole just because you have some personal vendetta against her old friends."

"Oh fuck off, when did you become all feminist Regulus?" Evan cackled. "You going to burn your bra too?"

"Just because you don't have a mum doesn't mean you get to be a dickhead." Regulus rolled his eyes. "You treat women like shit because that's exactly what your dad did to your mum, don't be like that asshole."

"Watch it!" Evan groaned.

"You don't even like the man!" Regulus sighed. "Why stick up for him?"

"Because he's still my Da!" Evan fought back. "Fine, fucking tell her, but if we get shut down I kill the mutt."

Regulus turned to Y/N, the hadn't been listening no wonder she hadn't pounced at Evan, she was fucking around on the walkman that Remus had left her; she had received a letter from him recently, along with a parcel, in said package was a walkman. He and the others had been sending her different cassette tapes to put into it, along with minutes from the Order's meetings.

"Y/N."

She snapped her head up to look at him.

"Would you like to join our... secret society of sorts." Regulus asked in a hushed voice.

"What is it?"

"Snape and Rosier started a secret club for pureblooded witches and wizards, we practice the dark arts." Regulus shared. "Almost everyone in our club has the you know what."

"I didn't know you were apart of some secret society." Y/N stated.

"Well, we don't go around letting everyone know, I joined before I met you, and you can't just leave." He added, clearly not impressed with his own life choices. "Would you like to join." The pleading glint in his eyes were enough to convince her.

"Yes."

"So you're going to infiltrate a group of student death eaters in Hogwarts?" Remus asked, his head aided by the broom stick he had mounted. "What happens if they find our you're one of us?"

"They can't kill me since I'm on school grounds, but they sure as hell could tell Voldemort, it would mean I'd have to run away is all." Y/N shrugged. "If he can't find me, then no harm no foul."

"Lots of harm, actually." He sighed. "I'm sorry Y/N."

"Don't be." Y/N smiled lightly. "I'm happy to help, I've told Dumbledore, he agrees this is the best course of action, by shutting it down it would out me completely."

Remus pat Y/N's back, the sudden warmth was enough to make Y/N jump, she hadn't exactly worn the best attire for a night ride with a werewolf.

"Have you been having your Wolfsbane?" Y/N asked with a small smile.

"You know I don't always have the abilities to do so, I'm going on mission soon." He frowned lightly. "I'm to have a word with the werewolves, wolf to wolf." He shrugged, his hazel eyes cast up to the sky. "I don't know if I'll come back, Y/N." He let out a large sigh. "If I don't, please mourn for me."

"You'll come back, but even in the worse case scenario, you know I would do more than mourn." Y/N weakly smiled back at the man before her.

"And if I come back a different man, evil and cruel, kill me, okay?" He grinned back.

"I won't." She frowned. "Oh, and Remus."

He raised an eyebrow in her direction, his hands stuck to his arms in an attempt to create some warmth from friction.

"Happy Halloween."

"You too, Y/N." He lifted up his worn out jumper to reveal a flask that was hanging on for dear life in his jean pockets. He snatched it and took a small swig, then offered it to Y/N. "For old time's sake."

"Thank you." She copied his actions and returned it to him.

"Why aren't you at the ball?" Remus asked.

"They canned it after last year's events." Y/N sighed. "We were given one more chance, and you lot had to ruin it for those of us left at school."

"Hey, don't look at me!" Remus laughed. "It was all Sirius and James."

"So... you and Sirius?" Y/N smiled.

"Unfortunately, it's not like that." Remus sadly smiled at the girl in front of him, it was difficult to be friends with her, but it was even more difficult to hate her. She, unbeknownst to her, had Sirius at her heed, for a male leaning bisexual man, Sirius was infatuated with her. Remus wanted to hate Y/N for it, but she was such a beautiful person that he couldn't, she was always there for him and so innocent. She was sweet and innocent, but never ignorant.

Well, only ignorant on occasion.

"Don't be like that, if you marry the fuck out of that man we can be related through marriage." She grinned largely, like she would have the opportunity to marry Regulus.

"So things are getting serious with Black Junior?" Remus smiled lightly, her radiance when she talked about Regulus was simply something he strived for. He never truly believed in love, but he could when Y/N talked about it.

"I really love him, but I can't keep lying to him, it's draining on an already drained mind." Y/N sighed. "I don't think I'll be at school for much longer anyway, Walburga wants to take us away from Hogwarts."

"What about your mum?" Remus asked.

"I haven't heard from her since I came back, I honestly think she's dead."
