I was flicking through the stories that @Kuroos_Wifeu has in her reading list, because writers block has been immense and what not, one of them stood out to me, it's called something with strawberry in it but it contains what I imagine Regulus' letter to be like, so I would recommend reading it if you're feeling like you would want the letter (or at least how I feel it should be written).

"F/N!" M/N called out for her husband, the same one that was off in Bulgaria, apparently. "Do you know where my butterfly heels are?" The woman asked once more. "Narcissa got them for me and she's very keen on people wearing gifts she's gotten for them." Her voice echoed throughout the house as she had said so.

"They're next to your red bottom black heels!" The man called back, awkwardly sitting in front of his two children, Y/N and Alexander L/N who for all accounts may not even be his. "So... how was school?" The man rubbed his hands together and pursed his lips into a smile, he had never truly wished to begin a conversation with his children and even if he could do it properly it would have been elongated.

"We finished, went on holidays two weeks ago and you've been back from your... business trip a literal week ago; you can do better than that." Alexander grumbled, giving his father an irritated look before whispering all sorts of curses under his breath, only so his sister could hear them. "You've asked us three times a day." He reiterated.

"I suppose I have, I don't mean to be an absent minded father but I'm just a bit forgetful." He responded, one of his hand rubbing the back of his neck.

"Forgetful or just plain distaste to being a dad?" Y/N asked. She knew she should have bit back her tongue but she figured since Alexander didn't get in trouble neither would she; how wrong she was. Just like his wife Alexander was the most important to him, it was like her gender was the sole decider of that fact, since she was smarter than him, kinder than him and more willing to take over any family businesses, yet no.

"Don't use that tone with your father." The man scolded Y/N. "You'll be banished to your room, if it was your mother then only you would be, but, since I'm fairer; you too Alexander." The man was thin and tall, he was a leering height; he had brown hair and E/C eyes. "After the party of course, we have no business not attending."

"Darling, what do you think?" M/N asked as she strutted down the stair case, she was dressed in a long black dress which had butterfly accents, which matched the shoes which Narcissa had gifted her.

"C'est magnifique, mon cheri." F/N purred, both of them were just as fake as each other. Alexander pretended to vomit at the two and immediately stood up, offering a hand to Y/N who took it. "Go off to the carriage children, your mother and I would like to have a small discussion of your behaviour and what you'll be doing until you go back to Hogwarts."

The two siblings obliged and jogged as quickly as they could to the carriage, they had to make the best of the time they were given. Y/N piled in then Alexander followed swiftly; this could either take a couple of seconds of a good thirty minutes. Unfortunately, it was the former.

"Well, I'm quite happy with the unity of Narcissa and Lucius, a very handsome match, don't you agree?" M/N commented, walking in an elegant manner into the empty carriage seat that was positioned in front of the two. Her golden coat was hung from her shoulders before taking it off and folding it onto her lap. "You used to follow those two around, Y/N."
