Turning a new leaf

Chapter 3- this is a ninja academy? they're just bunch of brats

-Haruka's POV-

~dream land~

" you know... mother was in tears when you did that... She was shedding tears of joy. " Illumi my eldest brother said, I just walked past him and saw bodies of my past friends in front of me, looking at me in the eyes. I then hear voices, voices of those who I killed.

"Monster"

"Demon"

"Murderer"

"Traitor"

I couldn't take it and covered my ears but I still heard them. I ran and ran until I was on the edge of a cliff, Illumi was walking towards me and I kept stepping back until I fell down.

~ end dream~

I woke up with a start, I looked around and realized that it was just a dream... 'a harmless dream'. I did my morning routine and headed to the tower. It was still kinda early so I went to the cemetery, I don't know why I went here exactly but I just felt like going here. I just walked past and read the names on the stones, I read some names with the same surnames and died at the same date. The name was Uchiha, I gotta ask the hokage for this. I looked at the sky and walked my way to the old man's office.

"Morning old man!" I said the moment I slammed the door open, you guessed it right I didn't knock XD ! I walked to his desk and sat down " so what am I gonna do today gramps?" I asked while he was still recovering from shock. " You, Haruka, will go to the academy. They would start at 7:30 and since you're new give this to your home room teacher, you will be assigned to go to room #201" I nodded and looked at the clock and saw that it was already 7:30 " okay I'm not that late so I'll just go out of the window, see ya later old man" I said before jumping out of the window,

I landed on one of the roofs and saw an open window at my right. I ran and jumped getting inside the room un scratched, it was quiet then I looked up to see a guy with a scar across his nose with a book in hand just staring at me. I cleared my throat and asked "ummm... is this room #201?" he blinked a few time before nodding "good! gramps said to give you this when I get here" I said giving him the form the old man gave me. He read the contents and smiled at me, I was a little shocked cause he smiled for no reason. " okay class we have a new student joining us today! Why don't you introduce yourself" I nodded and faced the class. " my name is Shinigami Haruka if you have questions better say it now, but don't expect me to answer all your questions" I put my hands inside my pockets and waited, then suddenly everyone bombarded me with questions " how old are you? " " what's wrong with your hair?" " why didn't you use the door instead?"

I turned to my home room teacher and whispered to him " I thought this was a ninja academy all I see are snot nosed brats" he sighed and shook his head. They all quiet down and waited for me to answer them I sighed as well and answered " I'm 12 years old, I should ask you the same, what's wrong with your hair blondie? And I used the widow because I was a little late cause the old man called me to his office and gave me this slip here, so I jumped from his office to here since the building's are connected." " you jumped from the tower to here?! Are you killing yourself?" I shook my head no " even if I try to kill myself I'd still live" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"* sigh* alright then, you can sit beside Sasuke" I just stood there, blinking I didn't know who that Sasuke guy was so I just stood there looking at him. He noticed I'm not moving an inch so he pointed him out, I looked at that direction and sat down.

class started and I got bored it was only math problems so it was easy, I fell asleep for a couple of minutes the I felt someone tugging me. I opened my eyes to see ... uhhh What's his name again "Haruka, could you solve the problem on the board and explain?" I yawned and nodded, I stood up hearing some snickering and went to the board solving every problem there was and explained briefly. " is that all Sir?" he looked shocked to the least and nodded 'pshh even a five year old could solve that kind of problem' I thought to myself

" alright everyone we'll be having a taijutsu match, when I call your name step into the arena" Iruka as I now know his name was said and started to call names. I got bored and and fell asleep once again, but not completely. I can still hear names being called when I heard mine,I stood up and dusted myself stepping into the ring. "Shinigami Haruka vs Otonashi Yukio" I stood there watching as this girl continued to squeal and say " watch me win Sasuke-kun!♥" I shivered this one is a total fan girl ' maybe I'll play with her for a while' I smirked. " okay are you two ready? If you are put your two fingers in front of you so we can start" we did as we were told once he said start

this Yukio girl jumped backward, I put my hand inside my pockets and smirked at her making her pissed off. I laughed when she charged at me aiming to punch me only to be tripped by my foot, she stood up again aiming a run house kick. I ducked and did a backflip hitting her chin and sending her out of the ring. I laughed when she was rendered unconscious " all I did was hit her chin and she was knocked out" I sighed 'how pathetic'

class was over in no time and I was about to leave when I forgot something. " Hey Iruka-sensei can I borrow notes from your past lessons? I need to catch up" he looked at me but complied anyway. When I got everything I walked home, but then I sensed someone following me,I narrowed my eyes and ran into an alley and hid my presence. I saw the pursuer's face and it was no other than my seat mate Sasuke, 'he must be a stalker' I sighed and went straight home. It feels kinda weird to call it my home but I don't care as long as I'm not caught by them then I'll be just fine.
