Chapter 12- Gato

-Haruka's POV-

After seeing Kakashi in pieces, I punched the attacker square in the face making them fly straight the opposite direction. Once they regained their balance they charged at Naruto, Sasuke, the sharp person he is threw a shuriken and lodged the chains that they are connected to each other. They charged at us again, one straight for Naruto and the other to the old man and Sakura, but before I could even lay another punch in the guy, Kakashi appeared giving both of them a headlock.

After chaining them and Kakashi praising us Naruto suddenly stabbed himself letting the poison that was there, ooze out from his system. " Why? Why am I so different? I do special training and all but I still froze up like that! I promise with this pain in my hand, that I will protect the old man with my life!" I chuckled ' you really don't give up do you?' I thought to myself "Naruto that was cool and all, but if you lose any more blood you'll die" Kakashi said making Naruto freak out " stay still Naruto I'll wrap it up for you" I said getting a bandage from my pouch. " No, Haruka, look at your hand. You also got injured, so you have to drain the poison out too" I looked at my hands and saw a small scratch on my right hand. " Oh, don't worry I'm immune to poison. This won't have any effect on me" I said while wrapping Naruto's wound.

" It's okay to be to be scared, but you really need to get it out" Kakashi said and I just shrugged my shoulders at him and walked ahead. I looked back at them and they followed " the demon brothers said it was a Black assassin poison, if you don't get it out in the next 19 minutes you'll definitely die" Kakashi warned again " the who brothers? And don't worry I've been injected with black assassin two years ago and when I was still six together with my twin. I came from a family of assassins so it's expected" I heard shocked gasps from them but I ignored it and looked forward. We got on a boat and rowed our way to the pier "Tazuna-san we need to know why those ninjas were after you, If you don't tell us then we would have to drop you to the pier" Kakashi said and Tazuna sighed "I guess I have to tell you.... No I want to tell you. The man who is after me is well known you might know him too. His name is Gato" "Gato? you mean from the Gato company?" Tazuna nodded and continued " he found an interest in our country and no one had the courage to stop him, but he fears one thing..." " the completion of the bridge" Sasuke finished and he nodded " the bridge will connect our land to the mainland and his business will drop, so he sends people to kill me. I have to finish the bridge no matter what." Somehow he gained my respect he was doing it for his people. " But you don't really have to protect me anymore, but my cute ten year old grandson would cry for his dear grandpa ' grandpa! grandpa! I want my grandpa back!' And my daughter would detest the leaf village for leaving his dear father to die. But you don't have to worry" I felt my eye twitched, all the respect I have for him disappeared. ' He's using the guilt trip! If he didn't we could've continued this mission anyway!'

- time skip-

We were walking and Naruto kept throwing kunais on bushes until Sakura got pissed off and hit him on the head. I approached the bush to get his kunai and saw a white rabbit, I narrowed my eyes and surveyed my surroundings. I felt something heading straight for us. " EVERYONE DUCK!" I pushed Tazuna down and once the object flew past us I checked if everyone was okay,  and I sighed in relief. " Well if it isn't the famous copy cat ninja Hatake Kakashi, no wonder the demon brothers were defeated" a guy with cow print arm warmers said while standing on the large sword. "Momochi Zabuza. The Mist's missing nin one of the seven swordsmen of the Mist" Kakashi said taking a stance "I see I'm on your bingo book as well" " don't attack him he's on a different league. Mangi formation now! I thought you teamwork now is the time you use them" team seven formed a semi circle around Tazuna to protect him. Kakashi lifted his head protector revealing a red eye with tomoes, " I'm honored,  to see the sharingan early in our fight" " What's the sharingan?" Naruto voiced my question and Sasuke explained what the sharingan was and the guy Zabuza revealed the deeper secrets of the sharingan. After that Kakashi and Zabuza began to fight in the mist (A/N: I'll skip the scene where Sasuke trembles and the water clone part cause if you watched the anime you already know that XD)

Kakashi got trapped in a water like prison and Zabuza chuckled " you think you're ninjas just because you have a head protector on your heads, but you guys are just a bunch of kids playing ninja. To be a ninja you have to be in the bingo book. This hands have been stained by blood years ago in the graduation" I raised an eyebrow but said nothing " the Demon Zabuza" Kakashi muttered and Zabuza continued " so you've heard of it, the graduation of the Bloody Mist." " What about the graduation?"Naruto asked " the graduation is to kill every single one of the opponents even your team mates. You have to kill the people you eat with, laugh with and hang out with. That's why it's called the bloody mist" Zabuza began to laugh maniacally, I scoffed " is that all?" I asked and they looked at me, four with shocked faces, one is with interest and the last one is a don't- do- it look. " So what if you killed people, you were probably 12 years old when you killed. I killed ever since I was 7, a massacre is nothing to what my family had done before" I said a matter- of- factly, shocking everyone more. I don't care what they think of me anymore. " Looks like you have a killer as a student Kakashi. Do you want a trade?" Zabuza asked mischievously,and when Kakashi shook his head the battle started again.
