Chapter 16- killing machine

-Haruka's POV-

I woke up lying on my bed 'Sasuke must have carried me back' I shrugged and went downstairs, Naruto was still asleep so we were going to let him rest. " Haruka, stay here with Naruto. Your wounds still needs time to heal some more, I don't want my student to get harmed more than she already is." Kakashi said giving me his famous closed eye smile. ' This bastard' I glared at him before they left. I don't have anything to do so I decided to take a quick nap.

"WAAH I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ME LIKE THAT!!! TSUNAMI-SAN! I'll be in my way now!!!" He really can't keep it down can he? I thought to myself sighing. I sat up and went up to Tsunami-san, I felt someone coming this way "Tsunami-san can you go upstairs with Inari please?" I asked smiling. She asked why and I frowned slightly and just said trouble, when she heard that she carried Inari and ran upstairs. I sat down on the chair and waited for a couple of minutes, when the door was rudely being banged. I opened the door and was greeted by a sword inches from my face " is Tsunami here?" One of them asked I deadpanned and slammed the door on their faces. I steeped back a little and pulled my yo yo, the moment they slammed the door in hinges I aimed to where the sun doesn't shine. I laughed at their faces. It was priceless! I was literally rolling on the floor laughing, in the middle of my laughing Naruto came and defeated them easily.

I can't stop laughing!! I think Naruto said something cause the next moment I was thrown on Naruto's shoulder. I let him carry me for reasons that I am lazy.

I stood besides Sakura guarding Tazuna while Naruto was inside Haku's ice dome. I am itching to have a fight! But Kakashi was preventing me! Time passed and I was guarding both Sakura and Tazuna from Zabuza's water clones. I was so distracted that I didn't notice people coming from the other side of the unfinished bridge. "Well, well, well look at you now Zabuza. You don't look like a demon anymore. You look like a little wet kitten!" A small man said laughing walking towards a dead Haku ( you know what happened to Haku and she was distracted so she doesn't know how Haku died)

I felt sorry for him but then felt anger when the small guy kicked his face. I felt some of my killing intent flowing out, ' who the hell does he think he is!?' I growled at the guy and grabbed a kunai. I the the kunai and purposely missed which scratched his cheek, I smirked when he looked frightened.

"DONT YOU FEEL ANYTHING!? HE WAS YOUR FRIEND WASNT HE?!" I heard Naruto yell at Zabuza I suddenly heard Sakura's agonizing wail I looked at her and saw Sasuke on her lap unmoving I growled at him and ran towards the men with the small guy. "HARUKA!! COME BACK HERE!" I heard Kakashi yell at me but I ignored him and continued. I got my yo yo from my pocket but this time I plan on using four. I was livid right now! The friend I made was dead! I just can't take it anymore! I aimed my yo yo to the men who were guarding the bastard named Gato. Once the yo yo made contact, it broke their weapons and went through their flesh. Some of them hit their head, so they feel with a hole in their heads.

- Third POV-

As Haruka killed the bandits Zabuza asked the kunai of Naruto who complied. But as Kakashi was watching his student fight the bandits, he noticed that Haruka was acting differently. " You guys are the reason why my friends are suffering now is your turn to suffer" Haruka said, she turned to the enemy with a smile on her face. Not a sweet, innocent smile but a very intimidating smile that can kill you of fear, and her eyes no longer the light blue violet color but blood red. The anger and KI mixed together which made her the killing machine she never wanted to be, she killed many men which Zabuza took as a chance to get to Gato. Kakashi, Naruto and Tazuna watched as Haruka killed as many men as she can with a wicked smile on her face, they were shocked at her, they knew she was an assassin but they didn't know that she could kill this many and in a matter of minutes they were all dead including Gato who was killed by Zabuza himself. She saw Zabuza panting and caught him before he fell to the ground, her eyes retired to their original color.

She dragged Zabuza to where Haku was and laid him down next to him. She knew what she had done, and she couldn't bring herself to look up at her team. She doesn't want them to think that she can't be trusted. But she was surprised to see Kakashi's hand on top of her head, giving her a reassuring smile.

-Haruka's POV-

When I saw Kakashi smiling down at me, I felt a tug in my heart. I couldn't help but sob. I felt arms around me and saw that Naruto was hugging me from behind, I sighed and hugged him back. We all went to where Sasuke was and looked down, we suddenly heard a groan and looked at Sasuke who was sitting up. Sakura hugged him and let go to let him stand, I walked up to Sasuke and hit him upside the head hard. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" " THAT DUMBASS, IS FOR LETTING US BELIEVE YOU WERE DEAD! LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!" I yelled at him tears threatening to fall. He was a total idiot! I walked away and started piling up the dead bodies except for Haku and Zabuza's bodies.

We were now going back to the village, Naruto and Inari was bawling. It was kinda cute seeing them like that, " we'll see each other again right? " Naruto nodded and promised it to Inari.

We were now heading back to the village it took us about a day to get back. I was so happy that I may be with my beloved bed again that I stayed skipping all the way to the gates. Once we arrived Kakashi reminded me about going to the hospital with Sakura, I groaned but obeyed. I don't want to get to Kakashi's bad side, the doctor said that there was nothing wrong with me so they let me off. The moment I stepped out of the hospital I waved to Sakura and ran to my house and went straight to bed.
