Chapter 6- A fight with a genin

-Haruka's POV-

the next day Iruka-sensei told me that I'd take my exam later after class so I waited and saw a blonde boy coming inside then closing the door quickly." What's the matter?" I asked looking at his panting form, he looked at me and placed a finger on his lips. I nodded and he came closer to me quietly" so what happened" he came close and whispered "I pulled a prank on the teachers" I looked at him shocked this kids got guts! I smirked and said "count me in sometimes" he looked shocked for a few moments and grinned " the names Uzumaki Naruto believe it! " I smiled and shook his hand " you probably know my name by now but, my name is Shinigami Haruka nice to meet you" suddenly a bunch of teachers came inside the room and chased Naruto. After the all the commotion I was left alone once again waiting for Iruka to come with the exam.a few hours past and still no Iruka, them it clicked 'genjutsus are illusions! I'm so stupid!!! urgh!!' I remembered the book I read at the library a few weeks ago about how to release a genjutsu without hurting yourself, and tried doing the hand signs. I concentrated my chakra and opened my eyes to see Iruka standing right in front of me and smiled "I passed huh?" when he nodded I thanked him and ran out of the building and went to the training grounds to train a jutsu I learned a few days ago. 'Earth style: Earth Wall jutsu!' I thought while making a wall made out of dirt. I stopped and observed my work, it was an average height, one that can cover a six footer.

I sighed and did it again making it more thicker and taller, once I finished I punched it and it fell bits by bits. It has been a long time since I did that. " okay earth wall done... Now is... piercing whirlwind" (A/N:I just made the last part up since I don't know any wind style techniques other than rasengan XD)

its a jutsu that can cut through anything just by swiping your arms to the enemy like when you throw a shuriken.

I trained and trained until I sensed four presences approaching real fast, I narrowed my eyes pretending I didn't notice them. "Leaf Hurricane!!" I dodged and backed away from my attacker " Hey! What's the big idea! I was training here!" I yelled glaring at them. I observed them and saw that they were ninjas here, two was wearing some weird green spandex that looked alike, the other one had lavender pupil less eyes and the last was a girl with two buns on her head. " I am deeply sorry for attacking a very youthful woman! I thought you were an enemy please accept my apology! " the thick brow said bowing his head, "I said someone was near where we are, I didn't say it was an enemy" lavender boy said I sighed. " Well sorry for disturbing you I'll just go away now" I said wanting to leave, " wait! " I stopped but didn't look back " did you do this? " " yeah, who else would do that here?" I asked looking at lavender boy. He hummed,smirking and introduced himself " my name is Hyuuga Neji, fight me."I looked at him and faced him smiling and said no. I was about to leave when I caught a kunai between my fingers,I threw the kunai and faced them "fine! Don't blame me for pissing me off" I said walking up to him slowly, using one of the Shinigami family's 'Rhythm Echo' ( remember Killua from hunter x hunter?)

-Neji's POV- ( didn't expect that did you? )

she was able to catch that kunai so easily, and now she made a bunch of bushin without using hand signs. I activated my byakugan and realized it wasn't a bunshin, all of them had the same chakra. I stood there in a defensive stance, then suddenly she vanished and appeared in front of me with a wicked smile on her face. 'w-what?!' I got hit by my chin real hard and my vision started to blur, I saw her approaching me but it was still blurred. " never fight an opponent you can't beat. unless you want to die early" I heard her say before I blacked out.

-Haruka's POV-

I sighed after I knocked him out, and faced his teammates scratching the back of my head. " Sorry 'bout that, I guess I was too harsh on him. Well see ya" I said running away from the training ground.

I bumped into Naruto not that long after. "sorry, are you alright?" I said helping him up, he smiled and took my hand. "What are you running from?"I sighed and scratched the back of my head "I knocked someone out while training myself" he laughed and invited me to eat ramen with him. He dragged me to a place called 'Ichiraku Ramen' we went inside and he gave his order " Hey, Naruto what's ramen?"I asked and he liked at me like I grew two more heads " you haven't eaten ramen?!" I nodded and then he ordered for me pork ramen. I took a sip on the broth and I must admit it was delicious! Then I tried the noodles, it was absolute heaven!! The noodles have the right texture, not too hard or not too soft. "Naruto... this is... ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!" I said digging in. I finished 5 bowls while he finished 10 bowls, we paid "I'll walk you home Haru-chan!" I froze a little at the name and looked down missing my brothers and sighed.

"if you don't want to I'll just go" he said and I quickly said " no its okay! I just remembered my brothers that's all" he smiled and we walked our way home. " my house is kinda close to yours!" he said I hummed " where do you live? "I asked happy that I had someone to talk to not just the old man "just around this block.umm... so... I'm wondering...erm...c- can you be my friend?" I looked at him shocked that he wanted me to be my friend, I smiled and nodded. "yatta!! Hey I know some great places here and there's my favourite swing just in front of school an--" I cut him off by saying " slow down Naruto it's not the end of the world you know" he chuckled sheepishly and said " sorry it's my first time having a friend so... hehe" "me too, well a living friend at least" I said "a l-living friend? do you m-mean that you can see g- ghosts?" I chuckled and shook my head no " they're all dead" I said looking at the dark sky " well see ya tomorrow Naruto, good night" "yeah good night! " I went inside and smiled 'I made a friend'
