"What's your favourite food?"
"Anything spicy."
"Favourite movie?"
"Don't really watch TV that much."
"Favourite colour?"
"Orange."
Bakugou was being pelted by the 8 year old's questions from all sides as he set up the place where the family would be painted at. It was in front of a fire place, the ledge filled with picture frames and the end adorned with little vases of flowers. He wanted to match the way the mother and Ayana were dressed to the setting so he gathered every bright and vintage decoration he saw and moved it into frame. He even dragged one of the dining room chairs in front of the fire place and opened the curtain where the sunlight would hit the setting. He was planning to make Eijirou and Ayana stand while the mother would sit down in the chair like they did in European history.
Speaking of Eijirou and Miss Kirishima, they were taking a long time to get ready weren't they?
Katsuki knew it was rude but he did so anyway.
"I'm ready to go when you are!"
"Sorry!" Eijirou yelled back from across the house, "We'll be done in a minute!"
Katsuki hummed quietly as he sat down on the couch. He didn't even notice that Ayana had disappeared from her spot until she came out from the kitchen with two mugs in her hand. She lifted one up with a bright hospitable smile and Katsuki took it with a small "Thanks."
They sat in silence for a moment before Ayana began to speak.
"Are you and Eiji gonna date soon?"
Katsuki spat some of the green tea back in his cup, startled by the blunt question. He coughed while Ayana was frantically apologizing.
"Wha" Katsuki cleared his throat, flustered by the idea ever since he figured out his feelings for the red head. "What made you come to that conclusion?"
"Oh!" Ayana seemed happy to answer the question. "Eiji seemed happier ever since he met you. And I've never seen him smile like that towards anyone else. Not Denki or Hanta or even Mina and they've been friends for a long time. He smiles at you the same way my friend does at the person she likes so I thought he might like you!"
Bakugou raised his brows in surprise. He never expected this girl to be so observant. But then again, she's really young and naïve so he doubts it's useful information. But it's also been said that children notice things older people don't most of the time and are a little more honest with themselves.
He decided to confide in her. "What makes you think I like him like that though?"
"Ayana." The confession was cut short by the curt call of the little girl's name. It was Eijirou. Katsuki turned his head and almost dropped the glass in his hand.
His hair was tied up like his mom's hair, half up half down, but it was messier since it was much shorter than her hair. He had a light pink silk shirt that was extremely elegant looking with the buttons being invisible and a high neck adorned with dark grey suit pants with the same colour ribbon tied and tucked in the belt loops and a lighter grey suit jacket that hung down to his knees.
'FUCK HE"S HOT!'
"Omg Eiji, you look like a J-Pop Idol!" Ayana place the mug down and ran to him, hugging his waist and stepping on his chestnut dress shoes.
