"Hey Bakugou, you okay?" asked Kirishima. He's been asking that for a couple days now and it got on the blondes nerves the first day.
"If you ask me that one more time I'm gonna fucking punch you," the blonde retorted, opening up his computer so he could start taking notes as soon as class began. Kirishima grinned brightly, melting onto his desk.
"I'm glad you're back to normal but I can't help but worry after what—"
"Don't bring that up. I don't care," he said coldly, earning a worried glance from the redhead. "Oh hell, I told you me and the old hag talked it out the day after. There's no need to get your tidy whiteys in a twist."
"I know, it's just...." Kirishima trailed off, mumbling into his arms that was resting on the desk.
"What?" Katsuki asked, sighting the professor coming in 5 minuets late. "Actually shut up, tell me later." Kirishima stared at him, his ruby eyes scaling over his face.
"It's not important, don't worry about it." Kirishima shifted his torso towards the front, his weird behavior clearly noticeable to the blonde. He didn't think much of it and continued writing down notes on the class.
After that, Kirishima didn't bother him too much and frankly, neither did any of his idiots.
It was like they were...avoiding him all of a sudden.
A few days went by like that, never having a real conversation with anyone and for some reason that bothered him a lot.
Bakugou sat in his room, creating up all the scenarios of what he did wrong in his head. Some real, most extremely fake, and the rest were just questions of why.
He decided to take his mind off of things, pulling out the sketchbook he kept private to only him. He started off with a head, then a face and hair and the more and more he drew, the more it looked like Kirishima.
He finished the drawing even if he didn't want to, knowing that if he didn't he'd lie awake at night thinking about it. He flipped through his pages, each one slowly becoming portraits of all of the people he considers friends: Kirishima, Kaminari, Mina, Sero and even Deku and pink cheeks and IcyHot. He sat for hours drawing instead of doing his homework.
Last stroke of another Kirishima portrait and he closed his book, his hand cramping up from being in the same position for too long. His lower body was numb and his neck hurt like hell as he rolled it back.
He stared at the ceiling, not bothering to move from his bed. He wondered what he did wrong to cause all of his close friends to distance themselves. Was it because they found out he was gay? No, they didn't seem too bothered—actually, they didn't seem bothered at all by it.
He sighed, rolling over and turning out his light, closing his eyes to enter a deep slumber.
3 YEARS AGO: HIGH SCHOOL
"Kacchan!" Deku called out, jogging up to him easily. The blonde looked tiredly to him, his usual scowl on his face.
"Yes?" Bakugou grumbled, interested into why this nerd was bothering him. "What the heck are you smiling about?"
Deku blushed, holding out and All Might action figure box, a doll placed inside. "Happy Birthday Kacchan! I'd think you'd remember your own birthday," he chuckled worriedly, rubbing his neck. "Is everything okay at home?"
Bakugou eyed the figurine, a slight sparkle in his eye. All Might was a celebrity actor, starring in hundreds of TV shows and movies. He was really famous and almost every kid admired him, including Bakugou. He wanted to take the action figure, but he knew it would just be destroyed or sold by his mom so he shook his head.
