Bakugou woke up early in the morning. So early the sun was not even giving light to the earth. He groaned, pulling the blankets over his head.

His mind was then plagued with his insecurities, all piling up on one another. He stayed up late again and yet he was able to wake up really early. He was exhausted and wanted to go back to sleep.

He cursed, throwing the covers off of him and getting up since he could barely keep still. He bit the inside of his cheek, throwing on a black tank top and some grey jogging pants and bright orange running shoes.

He grabbed his earbuds and his wallet and phone, walking out the door. He didn't bother to lock it since it was so early.

He walked quietly down the hall, stairs and corridor of the front office to the outside. He plugged in his head phones, shoving his cell in a secure pocket and began to jog.

He didn't have a specific workout routine, but he did workout since his arms kept getting tired with holding them up to paint something or sculpt something.

He stopped at a cross walk, jogging in place. When it turned green, he ran across, looking both ways until he reached the other side. He didn't really know where he was going until he spotted a familiar store in front of him.

He slowed down to a stop, checking his watch. The store didn't open until 8 and it was 6:57 in the morning.

"Well fuck," he muttered. He shrugged his shoulders, making a mental note to come back later that day.

His next stop was a coffee shop, ordering something with caramel in it and sitting in there to drink it. The girl at the counter was around his age and Katsuki noticed that she had written her phone number on his cup. He didn't know why she did that, but he did think she was an idiot for doing so.

He threw his cup away after he finished it, leaving immediately cause the girl at the counter was creepily staring at him.

He jogged back to the art store a few minutes after it supposedly opened. Surprisingly enough, he saw his friends standing outside, huddled up together to discuss something.

Curious, Bakugou pranced up to them.

"Why the fuck are y'all here?" he interrupted, earning shocked faces from all of them.

"Oh—Uh, morning Bakugou!" Kirishima squeaked, turning towards Mina who gave him the same panicked look that was on all of their faces.

Silence filled the air around them as the blonde eyed them suspiciously. They were being unusually quiet and the fact that all of them hate getting up in the morning was even more alarming.

"What the hell's going on here...?" Bakugou slowly articulated, making the group of friends glance at each other again.

"Oh!" Sero piped up, everyone giving him looks of confusion, "We were looking for dry erase markers since the ones at Mina's dorms were dried out! We figured the store would have some."

"Then why aren't you going in?" Katsuki asked, not buying his bullshit for a second. It was a decent excuse, he had to admit. "And why so early in the morning?"

"Wha—What're you doing so early in the morning?" Mina argued, obviously trying the change the subject off of them.

"Went for a run, got some coffee. Now answer the question, will ya?"

"Oh! Look at the time, we gotta run! We're gonna be late for that thing!" Kaminari sputtered, everyone except Kirishima giving a nod.

"Why not just tell him guys? This whole avoiding him thing is getting really old," the redhead deadpanned, the three of them turning to him like he was crazy.

"Fuckin' knew it," Bakugou murmured, doubtful thoughts in his head. He braced himself for the 'You're really toxic and we don't want to be friends with you anymore' explanation. His heart stung at the thought, biting the inside of his cheek, crossing his arms defensively and started to tap his foot. "Let's hear it."

Kirishima urged the three with his eyes, gesturing towards the waiting explosive. They sighed in defeat, and then Kirishima started to explain.

"I was planning a gift for you and was like, trying to figure out the things you like without making it totally obvious and I remember you coming to this store and decided to get you something that's art related," he stated, scratching his neck. "Though I don't really know anything about art so I let them in on it so they could help me."

Katsuki wasn't expecting that answer and he felt really stupid. He looked away to the side, covering half his face with his hand so they wouldn't see him blush.

In a last attempt, he turned his whole body away and laughed at himself for being so selfish.

"He's....laughing?" Kaminari raised his voice to indicate his utter confusion. Bakugou turned back to them with an appreciative yet insulting smile.

"You guys are a bunch of idiots," he chuckled, though that statement was false to him. Bakugou was the actual idiot here. "So fucking stupid."

"It—It's not stupid! Be grateful you jerk! If it was me I would've gotten you a box of tampons!" Mina complained, pointing accusingly.

"Mina! Rude!" Kirishima defended, stepping a bit closer to the chuckling blonde. Katsuki looked up, an annoyed expression on his face. Kirishima's eyes widened and so did everyone else.

"Bakugou, why're you crying?!" Eijirou panicked, putting his hands on his shoulders. Katsuki looked confused before touching his cheek and sure enough, it was was wet.

"Oh, must be the lack of sleep," he deadpanned, really annoyed that his body betrayed him. Eijirou didn't buy his claim, and instead wrapping his arms around the blonde.

"Lies." he whispered. Katsuki instantly tried to push him off, though a huge part of him didn't want to. Being hugged by a person important to him felt he himself was important, valid, and so very comfortable.

"Get off, I'm sweaty!" Bakugou excused. Soon, Kaminari was hugging him along with Kirishima and then Mina and Sero joined the fray.

Katsuki stood there, arms by his sides with the most surprised look on his face. He wasn't used to being held, even if his parents embraced him a few times but those were proud hugs. This, the hug his friends indulged themselves in, the warmth of their clothing and worried expressions on their faces.

He would've broke down right there in his friends arms if it wasn't for the fact they were standing in the middle of the sidewalk huddled up like penguins.

"Alright, get off, we're in public," he begrudgingly reminded. The four laughed at his bluntness and they spent the early morning in the art store.
