Viridian Forest

Chapter 3
Celeste and Clefairy after laughing like maniacs they back through Route 1 again this time not rushing through it
Celeste - "you know as much as I love our dynamic I think it's time we get you a friend huh?"
Clefairy just shrugs as they continue come across a Pidgey as Celeste yells
Celeste - "this is our chance Clefairy go!"
Clefairy slowly walks after the Pidgey trying to pretend it cares about it's mere existence as the Pidgey flies above the ground
Celeste - "Clefairy use Metronome!"
Clefairy uses Metronome creating a Earthquake so powerful it creates a small crater in the ground as the Pidgey just flies away with Celeste a mere inch away from the crater
Celeste - "Right it's Randomized.."
Celeste sighs
Celeste - "at least I didn't waste any pokeballs!"
The two continue walking as they come across a Rattata as Celeste with a determined look
Celeste - "this time you're mine Clefairy go!"
Clefairy just lays on the ground playing with a stray flower it picked from the ground
Celeste - "Clefairy come on I thought we got through this with the Machamp thing!"
Clefairy - "Clefairy"
Clefairy leans over to its side continuing to play with the flower as Celeste with a face full of irritation as she walks up to the Rattata
Celeste - "If you won't help me I'll just do it myself!"
Celeste throws a Pokeball at the Rattata as it goes inside the Pokeball wiggling side to side
Celeste - "Yes come on yes!"
It then pops out running away
Celeste stomps her foot on the floor
Celeste - "that's Tauros shit!"
Clefairy can be seen laughing at Celestes failure to catch the Pokemon
Celeste - "okay don't laugh, that's not fair considering it's your job to make it easier for me!"
Clefairy argues back
Clefairy - "Clefairy! Clefairy!"
Celeste - "I don't know what that means!"
Clefairy - "Clefairy!"
Celeste - "CLEFAIRY CLEFAIRY RIGHT BACK AT YOU!"
Celeste pouts facing away from Clefairy as Clefairy mimics its Trainer by doing the same Celeste and Clefairy walk through the rest of Route 1 as they make it to Vermilion city the Mart clerk from before can be seen with a grocery bag for Celeste
Mart clerk - "hey you the young girl!"
Celeste gives the guy confused look and walks over to him along with Clefairy
Celeste - "oh hi?"
Mart clerk - "after you did what you did all the valuables that got stolen from me were brought back I could have lost my job if it wasn't for you"
Celeste - "it really isn't a problem sir"
Celeste shyly looks away
The mart clerk hands her a bag filled with valuable items
Mart clerk - "there's potions and antidotes in that bag you'll need it if you're gonna go through Viridian Forest I even put some Repels and some leftover pokeballs in there for you"
Celeste - "oh wow thank you this actually helps a lot but I can't pay"
Mart clerk - "you pay me?"
Mart clerk hands over the bag
Mart clerk - "it's free of charge whenever you need something from Vermilion city's Mart it's on the house"
Celeste - "I can't thank you enough"
Celeste and Clefairy continue to walk through Vermilion city
Mart clerk - "have a safe journey!"
Celeste yells back
Celeste - "Thank you!"
Celeste and Clefairy traverse Route 2 like it barely existed at all walking into Viridian Forest with Clefairy getting nervous holding onto Celestes legs for comfort Celeste sees Clefairy stressed out and picks it up attempting to comfort it
Celeste - "relax Clefairy will be out of here no"
Celeste walks through the grass coming across a Pikachu as Clefairy jumps into action
Celeste - "WOW A PIKACHU THEY'RE SO RARE!"
Clefairy looks back at Celeste trying to understand why a Yellow creature filled her up with excitement
Celeste - "Clefairy use metronome!"
Clefairy - "Clefairy!"
Clefairy used metronome creating a flamethrower burning the Pikachu as Celeste throws a Pokeball at it the Pikachu goes inside the Pokeball with it wiggling two times as it pops out on the second as it runs away
Celeste - "you know why do I even try..."
Not paying attention after her defeat she bumps into a tree with a small Weedle falling from it landing on her head
Celeste - "Oh no a poisonous pokemon!"
Out of fear she throws a Pokeball at it running away as the small Weedle goes inside the Pokeball catching it immediately as her PokeDex goes off
Celeste - "what!?"
Celestes PokeDex - "Weedle the hairy bug Pokemon it can be found in forests and grasslands, It has a sharp toxic bards of around two inches from its head"
Celeste - "this thing gives me Pokemon information.."
Celeste stands there realizing she could have used this for the past three pokemon, she tried to capture
Celeste - "oh well fourth time's the charm right.."
Celeste grabs the pokeball and throws it sending it out as Weedle comes it just looks at Celeste as she looks at her first captured Pokemon proudly
Celeste - "Hi Weedle I'm Celeste your trainer and that moody Pink Pokemon is Clefairy"
Clefairy after hearing that comment just flips off Celeste not really caring at this point even though it never did as Weedle happily rolls around she puts Weedle on her shoulder as Celeste, Clefairy and Weedle walk through Viridian Forest while suddenly a trainer runs up to Celeste
The trainer - " I challenge you to a pokemon battle"
Celeste - "bring it"
The trainer sends out a Caterpie as she sends Weedle
The trainer - " Use String Shot"
The Caterpie used String Shot on Weedle as Weedle inwrapped by the String Shot against the ground
Celeste - "Weedle no!"
The trainer - "ah yes perfect now finish it off with tackle"
Celeste quickly pulls out her PokeDex seeing what moves Weedle can use as it shows that it can only use Poison Sting and String Shot
Celeste - "I don't know what this does but Weedle use Poison Sting!"
As Caterpie charges at Weedle with tackle Weedle retaliates using Poison Sting as the Caterpie becomes poisoned after that Caterpie faints due to the poison
The trainer - "no Caterpie!"
The trainer takes out his second pokemon
The trainer - "there's no way your match for my Metapod! Go Metapod!"
The trainer sends out Metapod as it just falls over with its shell like body as Celeste just ignores it
Celeste - "Use poison sting again Weedle!"
Weedle uses its horn to cut through the string shot as it charges at the Metapod repeatedly using poison sting as Metapod becomes poisoned and faints due to it with that being the last pokemon of the trainers
Celeste goes over to Weedle attempting to give it a pat on the head to congratulate it with it glowing changing shape
Celeste - "Weedle what's happening to you"
The trainer - "Its evolving!"
Weedle slowly evolves into Kakuna as Celestes PokeDex reacts to it
Celestes PokeDex - " Kakuna the Cocoon Pokemon This Pokemon is in a temporary stage making its body, it almost is unable to move on its own"
Celeste - "the pokemon that just won me a battle is now in a temporary stage where it is unable to move you really need to be kidding me!"
Celeste just groans as she recalls Kakuna making it easier to move around leaving her and Clefairy to walk through the rest of Viridian Forest by themselves as they finally make it to Pewter city heading straight to the Pokemon Center as they head inside
Celeste - "wow this is my first time inside one of these!"
Celeste heads over to the Nurse
Nurse Joy - "ah yes would you like me to heal your Pokemon?"
Celeste - "yes please"
Nurse Joy sees the Clefairy
Nurse Joy - "that Pokemon is with you right?"
Celeste - "yeah why?"
Nurse Joy - "Nothing it's rare is all"
Celeste places Clefairy on the counter as Nurse Joy heals it fully handing it back to Celeste
Nurse Joy - "Your new in this town right you should try and Battle our gym"
Celeste - "not a bad idea.."
Celeste takes the Nurses advice walking out of the Pokemon Center as she stands outside the Pewter gym with a bold look in her eyes
Celeste - "you ready Clefairy?"
Clefairy - "Clefairy.."
Clefairy starts screaming internally looking at the gyms typing
