Chapter 25
Celeste - "Cubone you ready?"
Cubone looks back at Celeste giving her a determined glance while putting a thumbs up
Cubone - "Cu! Bone! Bone!"
Quartz and Janine inside the battle stands of the gym look down at the gyms Battlefield
Quartz - "starting with Cubone that's smart"
Celeste - "Cubone use Bonemerang!"
Koga - "Koffing use Smoke Screen!"
Cubone spins it's Bone within its hands and throws it at Koffing, as Koffing uses Smoke Screen blowing out smoke out of its mouth submerging the battlefield inside a cloud of foggy smoke, as Cubones bone spins back to it with I catching it inside its hand
Celeste - "damn I can't see a thing!"
Celeste  attempts to look through the foggy Smoke Screen but can't see through it
Celeste - "you alright in there Cubone!"
Cubone - "bone!"
Cubone looks around blinded by the foggy atmosphere
Koga - "use Sludge Bomb!"
Celeste - "use Bone Club!"
Koffing comes out of the Smoke Screen behind Cubone using Sludge Bomb, as Cubone uses Bone Club swinging its bone against the Sludge Bomb sending it in the other direction, as Cubone jumps onto Koffing grabbing onto two of the holes throughout its body and begins to repeatedly Headbutt Koffing making it levitate out of the Smoke Screens foggy atmosphere now in view of Celeste and Koga, as notices Cubone using Headbutt
Celeste - "learned a new move huh good on you Cubone!"
Koga - "Koffing use Gyro Ball shake that damn thing off of you!"
Koffing nods to its trainers order as it proceeds to use Gyro Ball spinning its body around in a circular motion at high speeds, as Cubone still holds on tightly using Headbutt with the force from the Gyro Ball blowing away the Smokes Screen making the battlefield visible
Celeste - "just keep using Headbutt Cubone!"
Cubone continues to use Headbutt slamming its head against Koffing as Cubone proceeds to lose his its grip on Koffing letting out as the last second falling to the Battlefield
Cubone - "bone.."
Koffing from the repeated Headbutts has  noticeable damage around the top of its body
Koffing - "Koffing! Koffing!"
Cubone proceeds to stand back up when it's feet grabbing its Bone with a tight grip
Koga - "enough games now Koffing finish Cubone off with Gyro Ball!"
Celeste - "use Bone Club!"
Koffing use Gyro Ball and begins quickly coming towards Cubone as Cubone ready its Bone Club
Cubone - "Cu! Bone!!!"
Koffing - "Koffing!"
Koffings Gyro Ball and Cubones Bone Club coming into contact with each other Cubone struggles with the force behind Koffings Gyro Ball as Cubone pushes all of its might into its Bone Club, as the slam Cubones Bone Club begins to overpower Koffings Gyro Ball sending Cubone flying towards a wall as, Koffing faints upon  impact with the wall
Koga - "not bad"
Koga recalls Koffing to its PokeBall as he sends out Weezing
Weezing - "Weezing"
Cubone stares at Weezing looking exhausted
Cubone - "Bone.."
Celeste - "Cubone can you still Battle?"
Cubone pulls up a thumbs up
Celeste - "then use Headbutt!"
Koga - "use Fire Blast!"
Celeste - "wait what.."
Cubone charges at Weezing preparing a Headbutt as Weezing uses Fire Blast sending out a powerful fire type more from its mouth, as the attack hits causing Cubone to faint as Celeste recalls Cubone
Celeste - "you did your best so take a good long rest"
Celeste looks at Clefairy who's sending beside her as Celeste nudges her head as Clefairy sighs
Clefairy - "Clefairy.."
Clefairy walks onto the battlefield looking at Weezing, as Quartz and Janine continue to look at the Battlefield from the stands
Quartz - "this probably isn't going to turn out well"
Janine - "I think you're right on that"
Celeste exhales
Celeste - "Clefairy use Mega Punch!"
Koga - "use toxic spikes!"
Clefairy promptly uses Mega Punch landing the attack as Weezing uses Toxic Spikes with spikes shooting out of the holes in Weezings body that go into the ground surrounding the whole battlefield, as Clefairy standing on the battlefield becomes affected by the toxic spikes as the poison consumes Clefairy's body with it now being poisoned
Celeste - "yikes that's not good"
Clefairy - "Clefairy.."
Weezing - "Weezing"
Celeste - "it's alright Clefairy we can overcome this use Metronome!"
Clefairy uses Metronome as it then uses the move Dig with its body spinning like a drilling going underground
Celeste - "wait what where's the move?"
Koga - "Wait for it Weezing"
Clefairy breaks through the ground projectiling itself towards Weezing
Koga - "Weezing!"
Weezing stares at its trainer as Koga just points one finger upwards
Koga - "up"
Weezing levitates itself only a few inches away from where it was as Clefairy attempts to slam its hand on Weezings body the attack misses with Clefairy falling back down to the ground
Koga - "use Sludge Bomb"
Weezing uses Sludge bomb spitting out the attack at Clefairy as the attack lands sending Clefairy hitting the ground immediately as a small dust cloud from the impact swallows Clefairys body from view
Koga - "didn't Quartz teach you Poison is Super effective on Fairy types your Clefairy is finished sending your ne-"
Before Koga can finish Clefairy walks out from the dust cloud with visible damage all through its body as the Poison just adds to Clefairy's pain
Clefairy - "Clefairy.."
Clefairy gives a determined stare to Koga and his Weezing
Celeste - "you see Koga what I'm going to teach you is that Clefairy doesn't care about type matchups"
Clefairy smirks as it uses the rest of its strength to jump into the air and place its hand on Weezing as a swirling black aura comes out of Clefairy's hand as Weezings body becomes too heavy to levitate and drops to the ground as simultaneously Clefairy lands on its feet
Clefairy - "..Clefairy"
Celeste - "what was that?!"
Koga - "your Clefairy learned Gravity but that will not save you"
Koga smirks
Koga - "I'll give you that your Clefairy surpassed my expectations I'm actually impressed but can it handle this"
Koga let's out a short breath
Koga - "Weezing use explosion"
Celeste - "what!?"
Weezings bodys glows a bright light as it uses explosion as once the attack is done a dust cloud consumes the entire battlefield blocking view of both Pokemon
Celeste - "Clefairy!!!!"
Weezing is seen fainted on the ground as well as Clefairy
Koga recalls Weezing as Celeste walks onto the Battlefield lifting Clefairy's body in her arms
Celeste - "..you did so well we impressed an Elite 4 member thank you Clefairy.."
Quartz walks from out of the stands onto the Battlefield
Quartz - "i got Clefairy you just continue your battle"
Celeste - "thank you Quartz"
Quartz takes Clefairy and walks back into the Stands sitting with Clefairy laying on his lap
Koga - "let's continue shall we?"
Celeste - "yeah sorry"
Celeste sends out Farfetch'd as Koga sends out Arbok with Farfetch'd flying off the ground to avoid being affected by the Toxic Spikes
Farfetch'd - "Farfetch!"
Arbok - "jah bok!"
Farfetch'd puts its Leek inside its mouth as it flies as Arbok just glances at it sticking out its snake tongue
Celeste - "use Aerial Ace"
Farfetch'd uses Aerial Ace as the attack lands on Arbok
Koga - "use Wrap!"
Before Farfetch'd flies away from Arbok uses wrap trapping Farfetch'd within its long snake body squeezing Farfetchs small body
Celeste - "get out of there Farfetch!"
Farfetch'd - "Far..fetch"
Koga - "Arbok!"
Arbok looks back at its trainer as Koga puts a thumbs down
Arbok - "jah bok!!"
Arbok pushes Farfetch'd against the ground as its becomes affected by the Toxic Spikes as it becomes poisoned
Farfetch'd - "Farfetch!!!"
Celeste - "uue Fury Cutter!"
Farfetch'd attempts to use Fury Cutter but because it can't move it can't attack
Koga - "use Ice Fang!!"
Arbok uses Ice Fang as it bites Farfetch'd with its fangs becoming encased with ice as Farfetch faints from the attack as Celeste recalls Farfetch'd
Celeste - "you gave it your best so take a rest Farfetch"
Celeste sends out Beedrill as instead of hovering off the ground it stands using its legs as it walks onto the Battlefield glaring at Arbok as the Toxic Spikes disappeared under Beedrills feet
Koga - "a poison type I knew that I liked you"
Celeste - "wait what happened to the Toxic Spikes?"
Koga - "When you send a poison type Pokemon they disappear"
Celeste - "Ugh if I knew that I would have just sent In Beedrill first!!!"
Koga smiles
Koga - "don't beat yourself up not many people know"
Celeste grinds her teeth
Celeste - "use string shot!!!!"
Beedrill uses String Shot as the attack covers Arboks mouth so it can't attack
Koga - "use Haze!"
Arbok attempts to use Haze but the move fails as it can't attack using its mouth because of String Shot
Celeste - " use Twineedle!"
Beedrill uses Twineedle attacking the Arbok multiple times as noticeable damage can be seen
Beedrill - "Bee! Beedrill!!!"
Arbok uses its tail to remove the String Shot from its mouth
Arbok - "jah bok!!!"
Koga - "use Gunk Shot!!!"
Arbok uses Gunk Shot as Beedrill just stands still moving its stinger from between its legs and points it at Arbok as in the tip of the stringer it starts to charge up energy before the Gunk Shot can land on Beedrill, it let's out a powerful Hyper Beam from its stinger overpowering the Gunk Shot as it hits Arbok as Arbok falls over fainting as Koga recalls Arbok
Celeste - "great job Beedrill!"
Quartz and Janine watch from the stands
Janine - "that Beedrill is amazing"
Quartz - "that was a  impressive Hyper Beam especially since its only a Beedrill"
Koga smiles
Koga - "that was impressive, so impressive I think I'll send out my own Bug and Poison Pokemon"
Koga send out Venomoth as it flies off the ground looking at Beedrill, as Beedrill hovers looking at Venomoth
Beedrill - "Bee"
Venomoth - "Venomoth"
Koga - "use Stun Spore!"
Celeste - "dodge it"
Venomoth uses Stun Spore as from being exhausted Beedrill becomes immobile it can't dodge the attack as it becomes paralyzed by the Stun Spore
Celeste - "oh no Beedrill!"
Beedrill turns back to Celeste putting its stinger arm up
Beedrill - "Bee.."
Celeste exhales
Celeste - "use String Shot!"
Beedrill uses String Shot on the wings of Venomoth as it dodges the attack
Koga - "use Aerial Ace!!"
Celeste - "use Twineedle!!"
Venomoth uses Aerial Ace as Beedrill  counters it with Twineedle with their attacks being about evenly matched
Koga - "use PsyBeam!"
Celeste - "use HyperBeam!"
Venomoth uses PsyBeam as Beedrill uses HyperBeam
Beedrill - "Bee! Beedrill!!!"
Venomoth - "Venomoth!!!"
Beedrills HyperBeam completely overpowers Venomoths PsyBeam with a dust cloud surrounding the battlefield as Venomoth is seen fainted on the ground as Beedrill is still standing using the last of its energy to stand glaring at Koga
Celeste - "great job Beedrill you didn't it!!"
Koga recalls Venomoth
Koga - "I can't believe it's still standing"
Koga smirks as he holds out a PokeBall
Quartz and Janine watch from the stands
Quartz - "I can't believe she got a lead on Koga like that"
Janine - "she really is something"
Koga sends out Crobat as it flies onto the Battlefield
Celeste - "woah what's that Pokemon!"
Koga - "this is my Crobat its from the Johto region its also one of my strongest Pokemon I use it in official matches all the time if you bring down my Crobat I'll give you the gym badge"
Celeste - "consider it done"
Koga smirks
Koga - "use Acrobatics!"
Crobat in a instant flies in front of Beedrill as Beedrills eyes widen with how fast Crobat is as Crobat uses Acrobatics attacks Beedrill multiple times as Beedrill just faints falling to the ground
Celeste recalls Beedrill
Celeste - "you took out two of an Elite 4s Pokemon you deserve a long rest Beedrill"
Celeste sighs
Celeste calls out Golbat
Golbat - "Golbat!"
Golbat uses its large wings to cover its mouth
Koga - "another Poison type call me impressed"
Celeste smiles nervously as she loses the smile and focuses on the battle
Celeste - "use SuperSonic!"
Golbat holds out his wings and uses Supersonic
Koga - "use Zen Headbutt!"
Crobat in a instantly appears behind Golbat and uses Zen Headbutt as Golbat upon impact Faints
Celeste - "no way in one move"
Koga - "Crobat evolves from Golbat you silly child"
Celeste recalls Golbat
Celeste - "well you tried your best Golbat"
Koga - "your last Pokemon make it count"
Celeste exhales
Quartz and Janine watch from the stands
Quartz - "this will be interesting"
Janine - "well, yeah, it's a one on one of course it'll be interesting"
Quartz - "no no I mean the circumstances"
Janine - "what do you mean?"
Quartz - "she's never used this Pokemon before"
Janine - "wait what!?"
Celeste sends out Scyther
Scyther - "Scyther!"
Celeste - "I know this is our first battle together but Scyther please don't lose!!!"
Scyther smirks and looks at Celeste from behind itself
Scyther - "Scyther!!!"
Celeste - "in that case use Bug Buzz!"
Koga - "use Air Slash"
Scyther uses Bug Buzz as Crobat counters it with Air Slash with the power behind both attack being about even
Celeste - "use Double Team!!"
Koga - "uses Acrobatics!
Scyther uses Double Team as a herd of clones are made as Crobat uses Acrobatics attacking all the clones as they all disappear
Celeste - " Swords Dance!!"
Scyther crosses its scythes across its chest as it rapidly spins its body using Swords Dance
Celeste - "use Double Team!"
Koga - "use Air Slash
Scyther Double Team as a herd of clones are made as Crobat uses Air Slash on all them
Celeste - "use Swords Dance!!!"
Scyther crosses its scythes across its chest as it rapidly spins its body using Swords Dance
Scyther -"Scyther!!!"
Crobat - "Crobat!!!"
Celeste - "use Slash!!!"
Koga - "use Zen Headbutt!"
Scyther uses Slash as Crobat uses Zen Headbutt as  there attacks clash between each other with the power behind there attacks being even
Celeste - "use Swords Dance!!"
Koga - "don't let it use Swords Dance use Acrobatics!!"
Crobat uses Acrobatics as Scyther dodges the attack then flies up and  it crosses its scythes across its chest as it rapidly spins its body using the move Swords Dance
Celeste - "use Slash!!!!!!"
Koga - "use Zen Headbutt!!!"
Scyther uses Slash as Crobat uses Zen Headbutt with Scythers attack overpowering Crobats as Crobat faints upon the attack landing
Celeste "- no way"
Celeste drops to her knees
Celeste - "we won.."
Koga recalls Crobat as Scyther immediately falls over and faints once that battle is done as Celeste recalls Scyther
Celeste - "thank you for winning this for me.."
Koga walks over to Celeste bowing his head
Koga - "congratulations"
Celeste nervously gets flustered
Celeste - "no no Koga you don't need to do that please lift your head up"
Koga - "you will make a great champion one day"
Celeste - "thank you Koga.."
Koga - "Janine can you give her a badge"
Janine walks out of the stands with Quartz holding Clefairy behind her
Janine - "here you go the Soul Badge"
Janine hands Celeste the Soul Badge as Celeste takes it from her pinning it on her vest
Celeste - "I seriously need to heal my Pokemon. I just remembered that.."
Koga - "why don't we accompany you"
Celeste - "really?"
Koga - "I came to talk to Janine about something anyways plus"
Koga looks at Quartz
Koga "this changes things"
Celeste - "um okay"
Celeste and everyone walks outside the Gym and heads on to the Pokemon Center as the journey continues
