Chapter 19

Hoseok POV

Y/N.. just confessed to me. She likes me no wait she said love... she loves me. How does that make me feel . I don't know I feel a bit happy and my heart is skipping, do I like her back?...

Now is not the time to get distracted I need to get her help. I keep staring at her weak expression and all of a sudden she smiled. It was very weak but she looked so relieved to get it out. Such a beautiful smile she has, it's like she has no regrets but it left an eerie feeling that I'm trying to push to the back of my mind for now cause I need to focus.

Where is the nearest hospital, it's like twenty minutes away right? is there a faster route? Crap I need time to think where do I go? I can't lose her. She's cold, trembling and her eyes look half dead. Her clothes are soaked and her skin pale with no colour left. It's almost as if she's already dead and this is her ghost in my arms.

That smile is confirmation though, she's still alive and the constant shivering is a sign I need to act fast. All of a sudden the trembling stopped and her body went limp in my arms. Panicked I lift her body, her head tucked into my chest as her outside arm fell downwards. I need to rush her pulse is weak.

I ran as fast as I could... no this isn't fast enough, I need to go faster, Faster. FASTER.

As I was running I continuously checked on her looking down briefly. Come on Y/N, don't give up on me now, after all we have been through don't you dare leave me. You remember everything we did together, the way I always annoyed you and the pranks we all played on each other especially to you. Remember the movie nights and the nights I held you in my arms while you cried or how we drove your parents out of your house. The times we skipped class and hung out with BTS at the arcade. Even through we have only known each other for a few months it feels like years. We have been through everything together, the good and bad times. Sad times, happy times, the times we got angry even at each other but we made it past that but at the end of it all you always smiled, and it was so beautiful. I would do anything to see that smile for the rest of my life. ANYTHING

So please.... Don't leave me. My vision was getting blurry but I'm still running I have no time to wipe them I need to keep running. Faster.

<Few minutes later>

I burst through the hospital doors and started screaming. I don't care about the weird looks, I don't care about being patient or being polite all I can think about is you. You need to come back to me

"SOMEBODY.... GET ME A DOCTOR, NOW!"

A nurse made her way to me.

"Sir you need to calm-"

I wasn't shouting but I had a raised voice, I was angry, worried, upset and impatient.

" don't you dare tell me to calm down, use that energy to go get a doctor. She is in bad shape and I haven't got time for your crap, go be useful instead of standing around. She needs help and ASAP."

The nurse was a bit taken aback and looked scared.

"GO NOW! IF YOUR NOT GONNA DO IT THEN ILL FIND ONE MYSELF!"

I can't take it she just stood there even though I told her to get a doctor. I barged through the door labelled 'authorised personnel only' and looked around.

" ANYBODY IN HERE A DOCTOR"

"I am"

I turned to my right and see a woman wearing a lab coat holding some documents.

" can you check on her state, she's in bad shape and tried to drown herself in the lake. I got her out before she fully submerged but she just collapsed and now I don't know what to do so my best option was go to a professional. Please can you rescue her"

" alright please lay her on this."

She pulled out a table that had wheels on the bottom and so I lied her flat. I looked at her state. I'm sorry was all I could say.

This is my fault, I couldn't protect her especially from herself and now she's done this. Im a failure at a best friend. But so I consider her a friend.

"Alright I'll come back soon to tell you about her state, for now can you please exit and wait in the hallway outside. I'll be out there as soon as possible to inform you."

" thank you"

I exited to the hallway and sat on the edge.
