Chapter 3: Fresh start and new beginnings!

Y/n POV

I stared in disbelief at Hoseok. Did he really just say that? No I must have misheard. It was so random it shocked me.

" say again?" I said

"Can I be your hope? I want to help you through your life and give you hope that humanity isn't all bad and that life has a positive. I noticed that you only received the negative and I want to give you hope. Please just let me help. Will you....?"

I dazed off, surprised by someone actually caring for me. A real person actually wants to help me. My eyes became blurry and before I knew it I was crying heavily. I felt my body unable to stay upright so I laid sideways on sofa... the only thing was I wasn't the only one on the sofa, Hoseok was sitting beside me so my head laid on his lap. I didn't want to move and Hoseok didn't mind either. In fact he smiled slightly although it pains him to see you crying he carefully placed his hand on your head and began to softly comfort you.

Feeling the warmth of Hoseok's hands calmed you a little and you began to drift off. Before you knew it, it was the next day.

Hoseok's pov

I woke up with my thighs feeling numb. I began to rub my eyes when I saw y/n sleeping peacefully on my lap. I smiled as I thought his was so cute. But my smile went away when the memories of her crying so much came back to him. I looked down with a sort of downcast face and wondered what on earth happened to her to make her shed a river of tears. I felt so bad.

I carefully thought of an idea to give her something special for the morning but I had to do this before she woke up...

Y/n POV

I slowly opened my eyes as I was waking up from a peaceful nights sleep which I have never had. I quickly remembered last night and jolted up wondering where Hoseok was. The thought that maybe it was just a dream and that no one would actually be my friend overwhelmed me when Hoseok came in holding a tray of food asking:

" Hey! Why you so glum for huh?"

I looked up in surprise. Not for the fact this is new to me but for the fact he's still here and that it wasn't a dream. I was completely engulfed in the feeling of happiness and a slight smile spread across my lips.

"Oh look now your smiling. Did you really miss me that much" he teased and placed down the food in front of me .

I  felt a bit embarrassed that he made me feel like this so I slightly nudged him and looked to the side. I huffed:

" Not at all" I lied because straight after I smiled and whispered: " maybe a little"

Hoseok chuckled as he heard the second part and teased even further:

" so you did miss me. Haha"

I looked at him and said trying to put on a straight face:

"I did not"

"Yeah you did don't lie"

"I really didn't"

Before I knew it Hoseok was tickling me and I was kicking and wiggling light a little girl trying to get him off me but I was too weak. I couldn't stop laughing but then I realised school was soon and I don't want Hoseok to be late so I shouted:

"What time is it?"

Hoseok looked at his watch and I've never seen someone's eyes as big as his right now. They  were like bowling balls. It was kinda cute lol.

Hoseok quickly irked me to the bathroom so I could change etc but I said:

" you go first. I'm not in a rush. I always come in late anyways"
