CHAPTER 6: Freedom?

*The next day*

Hoseok POV
I woke up happier then ever. I finally made it up to Y/n. Even though it only lasted a day I couldn't help but feel empty. I'm ashamed at myself but the events from yesterday made me realise that me and Y/n are somewhat similar however, I feel there's more to the story. I hope she can trust me and tell me if things are wrong but all her life she's been shunned and deceived so I guess I need to wait before she tells me. I'm fine with that though.

Once I was done with my daily routine I dashed out my house because I realised it was quite late and I was gonna be late. (Dasi run run run ;D )

I don't exactly know why but ever since I awoke from my slumber I've been feeling an overwhelming sense of excitement and I couldn't help but smile as I ran. I guess it's from having been friends with Y/n. Just the thought of her makes me wanna run faster and faster.

Just then I remembered the events from yesterday and giggled.

*FLASHBACK*
*Hoseok POV still*
We were hugging each other when finally our bodies separated and I tucked her bangs behind her ear. Now I could clearly see the beautiful gems that held so much power. Her eyes were so beautiful but it pains me to see those precious gems cry. I decided at that moment that I would protect her at any cost ( although he already did at start but ;p why not again lol)

Then once I looked down I realised she was more pale and fragile looking then ever. Did she eat? As I continue to examine her physique I notice a bandage around her hand. Curious I look up to her and ask.

H:" how did you hurt yourself?"

She looks down and slowly tucks her hand behind her.

" what are you talking about? I'm fine.. see"

She gives a little spin which I could tell it took a bit of energy out of her as she wobbled a bit and she made sure her hand couldn't be seen.

" Don't mess with me Y/n. I can see the bandage around your hand, what did you do?"

She sighed in defeat.

"I just tripped and fell. Dont wor-"

I could tell she was lying so I interrupted to finally get the truth from her.

"Don't lie! I can tell when your lying y/n"

"I'm not lying!"

"I know you are"

"Alright fine... I kinda got angry that I betrayed you the other day and when I woke up the next day I went to bathroom. I saw a sickening image of myself in the mirror so I grabbed a brush and threw it. I got lost in my thoughts and trailed my hand over the pieces and I cut myself."

I could tell it was hard for her to say this. Tears started to develop in her eyes. Oh Y/n why don't you let me help you and why don't you tell me stuff. But I'm glad you told me this, baby steps I guess. I hold her in my embrace again.

"Look Y/n lets put this in the past okay? And from what I've seen today you need more help then I do so lean on me when your troubled. Let me carry your burdens with you."

She didn't reply but her grip got tighter and that was enough to signal it got through. I smiled and stroked her hair. Once she was fully calmed down I realised the predicament I was in.

"Aish. How am I going to get home with those sharks circling outside."

" maybe wait until they are gone."

" how long would that be?"

"Umm how long we been in here?"

" Around ten minutes"
