“Get upstairs and kill whoever is up there! I don't care what they are.” Avery shouted. They all put their bandits on and grabbed some weapons, running up the stairs.

Taylor felt relief. Maybe he had a chance, maybe he was being rescued, he thought. Jeff woke up. He looked very lost.

        “What's happening?”

“I don't know. The security alarm went off. Someone broke in, I think it may be Derek and the others.”

“Let's try to get out of these stupid cuffs.”

With all their strength, they tried pulling the cuffs apart.

The pack were in mid wolf form. Their brows down to their nose bulged into an evil frown. Their eyes glowed, viewing everything in wolf vision. Because of this special ability, it was easier to detect movements and objects. They had their claws and teeth out, hairs coming out from the sides of their faces. The hairs and bulging brows made them look scary, but they usually did this to hide their identity, and scare the living shit out of whoever saw them.

Out of the corner of the room, a big figure rolled across the floor like a bowling ball. Something hid behind the large crate. The figure shot up and shot an arrow at them. It was the explosive arrow. They ducked down, but the explosion hit them hard, causing them to fly in the air. They accidentally separated.

Jake got up. Feeling a bit dizzy, he tried to keep his balance, but out of the nowhere a knife flew into his shoulder. Jake has been stabbed many times but for some reason this one painfully burned. He looked forward and saw a woman. Faye. She had a batch of throwing knives strapped in her belt.

Jake quickly yanked it out and threw it back at her, but she dodged it surprisingly quick. She took out three more and threw them at the same time. Jake tried dodging them as best as possible, but one got him in the leg. It burned again. They must of been laced with wolfsbane. Smart, he thought.

Before she could throw another one, Layla came out of the corner, grabbing Jake out of the way. They hid behind a wall. Jake mumbled in pain and yanked out the blade.

“It's laced with wolfsbane.” he said.

She took it out of his hand. Carefully, she peeked from behind the wall. The woman was walking towards them, holding a long sword. Layla took the risk and threw the knife at her, but she caught it. Holy shit, what kind of hunters are they? Layla thought.

        “Shit.”

        “What?”

“She has a sword. I thought you said these were hunters not goddamn samurais.”

“Come out lovers, your heads are coming off either way.”

They both frowned at each other.

“Lovers?” said Layla. Well, Jake didn't mind that idea.

A knife hit the wall out from the corner like a dart hitting the board. The footsteps grew louder. They weren't sure if they should run or fight back. If they ran, they might have a chance at finding the others where they were stronger together, but they didn't want to make it look like they were weak.

Jake gave Layla a look. She nodded. They were going to confront her.

They stepped out from the wall and ran towards her. She threw a knife at Layla, but she slid down across the floor, ducking the knife. Jake was one step closer to the hunter. He jumped against the wall and lashed out at the woman. She slid to the side, avoiding him, and took out two Chinese daggers. She lashed out at him this time, the daggers moved so fast it was almost impossible to keep track of them. Layla appeared behind Jake.
