Once again they were walking down the hall where everything went to hell. The walls were covered in blood in a way that made it look like an art work, a perfect and natural rhythm of violence and death. The floors were stained in blood from the escape. The twins wondered just how many of their kind died trying to break out. All they hoped for was that those who did were safe.
They stopped by the same white rooms they were held in before. They could feel the cuffs cut into their wrists every time Bradley jerked their arms.
He faced the both of them, smiling in an eerie way with his hands behind his back.
"The finale stage to your rebirth. You both have a choice to whether join my pack and embrace me as your new alpha, or if you choose not to, no problem. You'll be decapitated quickly." he said with pleasure. "But the both of you will make your decision alone, which means no sneaking notes or glares at each other. I want to know what your choice is."
"You have an hour." Bradley let out a single clap and the vampires by his side shoved the twins into the white rooms.
"Can we have six hamburgers?"
The cashier looked at him strangely. "Six hamburgers for one guy?"
Daniel scratched his head, his eyes squinting against the sun. He looked back at Derek who sat in space on a bench, Alex signaling him to drop the whole idea. "I haven't had breakfast, in fact I haven't eaten all day!"
"Well why don't you have a breakfast -"
"Can I just have the damn hamburgers?" he said with a straight face.
He wrote his order down on a note pad, avoiding the argument. "What do you want in it?"
Daniel raised his brows. He hadn't thought of that. He looked back at Derek.
"I'm pretty sure he would eat anything." Daniel mumbled out. "Sorry what was that?" said the cashier. "Put everything you got."
"I don't even think we can fit that much -"
"It will fit. Trust me."
Daniel made his way to their table, the hamburgers squished in his hands and arms. "Lunch!" he said gleefully. Alex had his hands in his face. Derek didn't move one bit.
"I think Derek would eat anything, especially the fact that you haven't eaten all day. And you know, werewolves need those calories."
Alex unwrapped the hamburgers. The components were sliding out like an avalanche. "This looks like shit." he said. "Well I thought maybe giving him something a little more tasty other than wild deer would get him to speak up."
"Actually a wild deer sounds way better than cheap hamburgers on the street." said Derek. They both looked at him, Daniel in astonishment. "See I told you he would speak up!"
"Where are we?" Derek asked as he looked around with his arms crossed. Daniel let out a laugh. "What the hell does it look like? We're in New York City!" Daniel screamed out with his hands in the air. Derek watched the taxis drive by in a rush, the people walk down the streets in packs and tourists point at the skyscrapers. He nodded. "Well we're going to be leaving."
"Leaving for what?" asked Alex. Derek sat up straight. "We have to go back to that institution."
"What?" they both shouted. "What is there left for you?"
"I have to make sure members of my pack aren't still in that hell house."
"We just got you out a week ago and now you want back in?"
Derek rose from his chair, up in Alex's face. "They are my family. What don't you understand?"
Alex backed away, looking down. "And how exactly are we going to do this?"
Derek sat back his seat. "First off, we need to know if any of them are still in there. I'll know once I'm back there, I'll catch their scent."
"And if..."
"And if so, then we're busting in."
"Busting in how? We're an army of three. Two vampires and an alpha wolf against hundreds of vampires including hybrids and Bradley. There's also those human guards that stand down at the gate and roof. They'll shoot at us and slow us down before we even have a chance to sneak inside."
Derek bit his lip. "We'll think of something once we get there."
Sweat trickled from his hair down his face. Greg never thought a decision like this could get him to shake in fear. His heart pounded in his chest so hard it could of burst out. He could never betray his own pack. They were his family. But what if they didn't care about them anymore? They escaped and were probably skipping their way back to Hamilton without them. No, he thought. They would never abandon them, especially Derek. They would do anything to get them back, even if it meant sacrificing their lives.
But there was another problem; Rick. What was going on through his head? Was he thinking the same? That the pack would come back for them? Or was he thinking for himself, to do anything to survive and take his deal. Maybe he wasn't. Rick is too loyal to Derek. He wouldn't betray him? But if they both made different decisions, if Greg agreed and Rick didn't, he would lose him forever.
The doors flew up, a cold chill rushing into the room. Bradley walked in, his boots clicking against the floor. He crouched down to Greg, his head leaning down at him trying to see his face. "Time's up. What's your decision?"
Greg raised his head. "Has Rick made a decision?"
Bradley nodded his head, that sick smile peering from his face again. He tried to read his face, but his foul smirk was a barrier. "I choose to join you." he spit out. His smile grew. "Well then. Welcome to my pack. I'm your new and only alpha. You will obey me and never betray me. You got that clear? Or else I won't hesitate to take your head off."
Greg nodded quickly. "Of course."
Bradley took off his cuffs and helped him up. "Let's go then."
They walked out of the room, the vampires no longer around his back. He found Rick standing outside his room behind the wall, rubbing his wrists free of cuffs. "Greg!"
Greg ran into his arms. They hugged each other, tears streaming down their face. "You're okay." whispered Greg, gripping his shoulder tight. They rocked in each others arms, never wanting to let go.
They crept into the same bush they were in a week ago. Derek could see his own paw prints in the grass, claw marks everywhere back when he was changing into a human. They peeked through the bush. Guards stood at the gate just like Alex said, except the roof was empty. "I thought you said -"
"They must of died from the escape. Which is better for us."
They looked back, staring at the guards. "So is there anyone left in there?"
They waited for Derek's response, watching him as he sat still looking down. His eyes widened and he looked back at them. "The twins. They're still in there. But something isn't right."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean they don't seem the same. Something is different about them."
Alex's eyes widened. "Maybe Bradley..."
Derek read his face. He hissed under his breath. "It doesn't matter. We're getting them out."
Derek examined the place, looking at each detail. He spotted something up on the roof. It looked like a box. He sniffed some more as the wind came in. Something lightened on Derek's face. "What is it?" asked Daniel. He looked back at them in excitement. It was the first time they have seen Derek smile.
"I've got a plan."

مستذئبA story inspired by TV series Teen Wolf, Arrow, Bitten and The Vampire Diaries. It's a whole new story with elements of these shows and also by similar, inspired characters, but still characters of my own. Because of this I don't expect this story...
