Kyle wasn't sure if the car would even start, but John managed, kick starting his old fashion black Ford Mustang, the rust destroying its superb beauty. The car kept coughing after ages of being hidden outside under a covering. But they got in and drove, John looking back at his cabin one last time through his wing mirror.
It was a humid day in Middletown New York, the air sticky and wet. It was even worse in the car. Kyle tried breathing through his mouth, but he couldn't take it any longer.
Kyle inhaled, about to let out the words but John cut him off.
"The windows don't work."
Kyle sighed, wiping the sweat away from his face. "Can we stop for a little?"
John let out a chuckled snort and drove crazily to the side of the road. He got out of the car before Kyle could even lay a finger on the handle and punched out the window, glass shattering onto the ground as it sizzled away. "That should be better."
They found themselves back in the car, Kyle slightly sticking his head out feeling the breeze dry his sticky skin. John turned the radio on and lightly head banged to the song. Kyle realizing it was country, brought his head back inside the car.
"You like country?"
He let out another chuckle. "I love music in general, anything catchy, but country never really grew on me. "
"Then can you turn it off?"
"If you say so."
He switched on another station, heavy death metal killing their ears. But John once again head banged, but even harder. "Shut it off." Kyle said, but John laughed. "Your ears bleeding?"
He switched station after station from jazz to soul to rap until they were both satisfied, but there was nothing.
"Okay this is the last time." said John. Kyle could feel his nervousness creeping onto him as John teased around with the button, running his finger around and over its dusty surface. But the worst for the both of them came as a woman screamed through the speakers. The both of them turned to each other, Kyle watching John's smirk slowly turn into laughter. It was opera. "This is perfect."
Kyle couldn't help but smile too. They sat there trying to keep a straight face, but the boys couldn't help it. John began to sing along with the woman, his voice cracking as his free hand swung in the air, vibrating whenever the pitch was high. "The purest of voices, I can literally here the art call out to me." he said, his voice sophisticated. Kyle laughed and began to sing with him.
Once their voices were worn out, they agreed to switch on another station. Kyle's eyes slightly widen to the electronic music, smiling at the road. John caught sight of him smirking.
"What are you smiling at?"
Kyle turned on a serious face.
"You like electronic?"
"I do I guess, but it reminds me of someone."
John mumbled an "Oh." and sped up on the highway.
There it was again, that screech of the blade smoothing against the stone wheel, sparks bouncing to the floor. If only he had his hands locked over his ears, but even that wouldn't do much.
Sarah spent the whole day shaping and sharpening her arrows and swords, almost to intimidate Jeff. But instead it annoyed him.
"Please stop!" he shouted. Sarah was unclear of what he said, but the look on his face said enough.

LobisomemA story inspired by TV series Teen Wolf, Arrow, Bitten and The Vampire Diaries. It's a whole new story with elements of these shows and also by similar, inspired characters, but still characters of my own. Because of this I don't expect this story...
