*Aurora's POV*
My eyes flicker open and I sit up, letting out a yawn in the process. I jump out of my skin as I notice a slumped figure in the doorway. I get out of bed and slowly approach the figure. I sigh in relief as I recognize it as Dad.
"Dad?" I say, shaking him awake. His eyes open slowly. His face turns confused as he looks at his surroundings. He looks relieved as he remembers something.
"I must have fallen asleep." He says.
"Why were you in my doorway?" I ask curiously.
"Uh, no reason." He says dismissively. I let it go, knowing he'a more stubborn than I am. He stands up.
I suddenly remember the text I received before bed last night.
"So, ummm, dad... Do you think I could maybe go somewhere tonight?" I ask sweetly. He cocks his eyebrow.
"Where?"
Think, Aurora, think! I can't tell him a party...
"Uh, to sleepover at a friend's house." I lie.
"Who is this friend?" He questions.
Well, that's it for me. The only friend I have is Gavin and lord knows dad would murder me for even asking to sleepover at his house... Unless...
"Lottie" I respond. His face softens.
"Sure love. I'll just call my mum an double check with her." He says. He walks out of the room before I can protest. I groan and throw myself into my pillow. Good going, Aurora!
*Louis POV*
I dial up my mum before I forget.
"Hey mum! I was just calling because Aurora said she was planning a sleepover with Lottie, so I wanted to double check that it's okay with you." I say into the speaker.
"She was? Hmm, Lottie didn't say anything. Oh, we'll its perfectly fine with me! I think it's great that they're bonding! I'd be perfectly fine with her coming over!" Mum replies. I smile.
"Okay, great." I say. We chat a little before ending the call. I walk back to Aurora's room to tell her. I knock on the door and hear a mumbled 'come in.'
"Hey, I talked to Mum and its all set!" I exclaim. Her eyes inflate.
"Really? I...I mean, yea great. Thanks dad!" She stutters. I give a confused smile and walk out of her room.
*Aurora's POV*
Dad leaves and I groan again. I sigh and pack my bag for a sleepover. Might as well make the most of it. I finish packing and my head jolts up as an idea forms in my head. I smile evilly and get to repacking.
--------------------------------------------
"Aurora! Are you ready? It's time to go!" Dad shouts. I grab my bag and rush downstairs.
"Coming!" I shout. I meet dad at the door and he smiles, making me feel slightly guilty of what I'm going to do.
We hop in the car and he immediately starts blabbing about how 'amazing it is that Lottie and I are spending time together.' I just smile and nod, only speaking when spoken to. We arrive and I get out. Dad walks me in, mostly to say hi to his family. I see Lottie and she gives me a 'come with me' look. I follow her up the stairs and into what I assume is her room. I set my bag down and plop onto the floor.
"So... Explain." She says simply.
"Well.... How do you feel about parties?" I start
