"Aurora, this isn't a good idea..." Lottie protests. I roll my eyes.
"Come on! Live a little! You don't want to be cooped up in your room all of your teenage years! Live while we're young!" I urge her. She sighs.
"Okay... But, if we get caught, I'm blaming you!" She finally gives in. I smile widely.
"Let's pick out your dress!" I squeal. She smiles and we open up her closet. I find a cute knee length black dress that fit Lottie's form perfectly. She matches it with a thick red belt and red heels. I change into my mid thigh reaching dress with red at the top and it flows to black at the bottom in an ombré way. I get some red tights and black heels. We do each others makeup quickly and plan our way of attack. I smile again before we get to work.

I had finally made it down the tree and onto the ground from out of Lottie's window. She is currently looking down at me nervously and fumbling with taking off her heels. She tosses them down to me and I pick them up off the ground. She whimpers before climbing out of the window and stepping on the first branch. She lets go of the window sill and immediately clings fast and hard to the trunk.
She takes tiny steps around the tree, slowly making her way down to me. She arrives and lets out a huge sigh of relief. I hand her her shoes but she doesn't put them on yet. I take my phone out of my bra (where else am I supposed to put it??!?) and pull up he directions to Gavin's house.
"Ok, so you said you have a crush on this guy, right? Isn't he like 19?" She questions.
"Yep!" I pipe. She looks down and shakes her head muttering something about "knew we shouldn't do this." I just laugh at her and tug her down the road to his house. He lives only a few streets away, so it's not bad of a walk. I immediately walk up and knock on the door. Gavin swings it open.
"Aurora, babe! Glad you could make it! Who's your friend?" He asks.
"This is Lottie." I say with a wide grin. Lottie just looks panicked. Gavin greets her and let's us in. Lottie shrinks back and finds another girl our age who doesn't want to be there. I just laugh at her and walk off. I mingle with some of the guests and, admittingly, flirt with quite a few guys. If Louis was here! I walk around a bit more before running into Gavin again. He brightens up.
"Hey babe!" He says, taking a swig of his cigarette.
I'm not a fan of smoking. I would never do it in a million years. But the way he looked with a cigarette just seemed to turn me on. A smile creeps up to my face.
"Hey Gavin." I say. He winks at me flirtingly before pecking me on the lips.
"You look gorgeous tonight." He purrs against my ear.
"And you look stunning." I reply. He chuckles and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Wanna dance?" He asks, gesturing to the several other couples closer than pb&j. I blush a little.
"Sure." I say. He tosses out his cigarette and takes my hand. He leads me to where everyone is dancing and places his hands on my hips. I place my hands behind his neck. We sway back and forth and I lie my head on his chest. I hear his heart beat steadily and his breathing.
My mind starts to wander. What if dad were here? I chuckle a little. If dad were here, I'd be dead.
At first, that thought makes me feel good, kind of rebellious. Then, a churning feeling begins in the pit of my stomach. Guilt builds up inside of me. I pull away from Gavin.
"Uh, I have to go." I say. He frowns.
"O-Okay.... Um, call me, Kay babe?" He says.
"Yea, I will." I say flashing him a fake smile. I quickly find Lottie and pull her out.
"Finally..." She moans. "Why'd you leave?"
"I uh..." I huff. "I feel guilty. Gosh! I cannot believe I am such a wimp!"
"You aren't a wimp! Come on, Aura, lets get back." She says. I follow her down the streets and back to her house. We quickly and quietly open the door, only to be jumped on by Jay.
"Oh, thank god! I thought you got kidnapped or something! I cannot believe you, Lottie! You either, aurora! Sneaking out like that?!? Oh I'm just so glad you're safe!" She rambles. I look down sheepishly until a foot places itself right on the floor I was looking at. I hesitate before looking up to see the owner. My stomach clenches.
"Hi dad." I mutter
