*Still Louis' POV*

"Daddy..." A sweet, innocent voice calls out to me. I soon see Aurora in the same clothes she was wearing when we adopted her. I smile at her.

"Hi baby." I try to say, but no noise comes out.

"Shut up." A man's voice snarls. I turn around with shock to see a man, much larger than me, dressed in all black with his fists balled.

"I'm sorry!" Aurora's voice pleads.

"Too late for that." He snarls. He reels back and punches her in the guts. I gasp and throw myself in front of her. He swings again and I wait for the blow. My face drops in horror as I feel nothing and Aurora whimpers behind me. I realize that his punches just go through me... I am useless. I can't help her...

I try to grasp her shaking body and give her any sort of comfort I can. Much to my dismay, I can't even hold her trembling frame. I am forced to watch as my little girl is brutally beaten. She begins to bleed and it drips onto the carpet, leaving crimson stains. I gasp and tears begin to escape my eyes. More and more flow until I am on my knees sobbing at the sight of my baby hurt.

Someone touches my shoulder gently. I stand up to see Eleanor, smiling back at me.

"Elle!" I exclaim. She smiles at me and brings me in for a kiss. I gladly accept. Before I know what is happening, Eleanor shoves me roughly away and I stumble into another body. I regain my balance and turn to see the other person. Aurora's face greets me, but she is now her 15 year old self. She still has that same look of fear she had a few moments ago. I notice that she fell onto the floor. I hold out my hand but she doesn't take it. Something clicks in my mind. The look of fear is towards me. She is afraid of me.

"I'm so sorry." I say in desperation, my stomach clenching at the mere thought that my baby girl is hurt especially because of me. She takes my hand and I pull her up, but she quickly falls to her knees.

"Baby, stand up please." I beg. She shakes her head no.

"If I stand up, I might fall. When I fall, there will be no one to catch me." She states.

"I'll catch you." I say. She shakes her head no and slowly fades away. My eyes widen in shock and I call out her name. "Aurora!" I repeat until my voice disappears, once more leaving me unable to speak. The helpless feeling returns once more. I see Aurora in the distance in a full black outfit. She looks my way and brightens up. I open my arms wide as she runs to me. I blink in confusion as she passes me by. I turn around to see her wrapped in the arms of a strange boy that my mind can only perceive as 'Gavin.' They get closer and closer until there isn't a millimeter of space between them. Their lips collide together and something about it makes me sick. His grip loosens on her but her grip on him just tightens. She holds onto him like, if she lets go, her world will come crashing down. He lets go of her and pushes her into the ground. My eyes widen and I run to my girl, now bloody and crying. Gavin offers only a smirk before fading away. I growl at his retreating figure. I turn back to my baby.

"Aurora..." I breathe. Her bloodshot eyes peel open as she mutters three words.

"You weren't there."

I jolt awake from my nightmare. I immediately run up to Aurora's room and quietly open the door. She is fast asleep on her bed. I smile to myself as I look at her peaceful figure. A picture of her all bloody and broken from my dream flashes through my mind. My face drops and I make a vow to myself. I will keep her away from Gavin
