Y/n's Pov
I've been distant towards nat all December because I've been planning everything for Christmas. I had her presents, the meals ready, everything.

So here I was sat in our room, December 24th organising a cat adoption. Nat walked in while I was on the bed with my laptop. I was quick to close my laptop making her frown.

"Hey Tasha," I said nervously.

"Hi Y/n/n," She said confused.

"Sorry I have to go, Natasha," I sighed getting up and grabbing my phone and jacket.

A disappointed 'oh' fell from her lips.

"I'm sorry," I said then I left as quickly as I could. I felt bad for just leaving like this but she'll love this cat, or at least I hope she will.

Christmas morning,
Natasha's Pov

I fell asleep before y/n got back from whatever she was doing last night..... I'm starting to think he's cheating on me, all December she's been distant and weird.

"Good morning, Babe" I heard her tired voice say I looked over at the door and she was wearing her clothes from last night and she looked tired yet she held a tray in her hands. "I made you breakfast!" She grinned and sat it down on the bedside table.

I ate her amazing breakfast and she told me to change into comfy clothes, I didn't question her and put on jeans and a warm jumper with my fluffy socks, then she took my hand and led me downstairs.

Bu now the coffee had kicked in and I was more awake. the Christmas tree had hundreds of presents but I now noticed a new one, there was a red glittery box. Y/n rushed to grab it and place it in my lap. "Open it!" She grinned. I pulled the ribbon off and opened the lid to reveal a small black kitten.

"Aww y/n!" I squealed.

"What's her name?" I asked y/n smiled them faked not knowing.

"It's somewhere wrapped up, we can find the collar when we unwrap the rest. She said faking innocence I smiled and placed the kitten down.

-at 3pm-
The whole day y/n has seemed okay but now she's seemed on edge and nervous. I was getting worried.

"Tasha?" She asked I hummed in reply "..can we go out for a walk?" She asked hesitantly. I nodded grabbing our jackets.

-on the walk-
We walked through the woods near our house, it was nice and covered in snow.
As we were walking we came across our favourite frozen lake y/n stopped, I turned to see why and she was on her knee holding a box in her hand.

"Y/n" I breathed out she smiled nervously.

"Natasha Romanoff...... You've made me the happiest woman alive, the years we've spent together, the missions we've been on, we've lost each other and saved each other and...... I just want you. It's always been you so..... Will you marry me?"

"Yes.... now off the cold ground!" I smiled and kisser her and smiled and slipped the ring on my finger.

"Well, I guess you need one too huh," I said bringing out a box of my own she looked at me and I slipped7 the ring on her finger.

"It's beautiful nat" she breathed out kissing me again.

"Not as beautiful as you moya lyubov" I whispered in her ear.

"I love you Natasha Romanoff" she kissed me once again.

"I love you Y/n Romanoff" she smiled at the name.
