Chapter 13 - Jealous

*Skye's P.O.V.*

"What are you guys doing Saturday?" Monique asked when Percy sat down at the lunch table.

"It's only Wednesday" Percy pointed out.

"Excuse me for planning ahead" she replied. "I'm going to New York City with my mom. We're going shopping and going to see a concert"

"Who are you going to see?" I asked.

"Drake"

"Awesome!" I replied.

"Started from the bottom, now we're here" Niall rapped.

"Yeah, what about you guys?" She chuckled.

"Niall and I are going to hang out at my place"

"We're going to watch scary movies" Niall said with an evil grin.

"No, we're not" I told him. Scary movies frighten me.

"Why not?" He whined.

"Scary movies scare the piss out of her" Monique told him.

"No, they don't!"

"Yes, they do! If they didn't you wouldn't be so hesitant to watch them" Monique replied.

"She's got a point" Niall said.

"Whatever, we're watching comedies"

"Wait, so I'm the only one without plans? You guys are leaving me out?" Percy exclaimed.

"Yup" Niall replied, popping the 'p'.

"I love how sympathetic you are" Percy stated sarcastically.

"I love how uptight you are" Niall responded.

"I'm not uptight!" Percy retorted.

"You're pretty uptight" Niall informed him while Monique and I nodded in agreement.

"I am not!"

"If you're not uptight then it wouldn't bother you if I do this" he said, reaching over and taking a sip out of Percy's Mountain Dew.

"Ewww, you can keep it" he replied, swatting away the 'germ-y' bottle.

"Cool, free soda" Niall replied. "I'm glad you're uptight. I'm going to do things like that more often"

"I'm not uptight, I just don't want to drink after you. You could have a virus"

Niall gave Percy a bored look before turning towards him and fake sneezed on him.

"OH MY GOD! YOU ARE THE MOST DISGUSTING PERSON I'VE EVER MET!" He replied quickly darting off to the restroom.

"He does realize it was a fake sneeze, right?"

"Guys, we're supposed to be studying" I told them. The four of us are studying for a physics test.

"It's not my fault, he's the one that won't speak" Niall said, nodding in Percy's direction.

"You sneezed on me! Why would I want to study with you?!" Percy retorted.

"It was a fake sneeze!" Niall told him.

"What?! Why would you do that?"

"It was a joke!"

"Can you two stop bickering so we can study?!" Monique demanded.

Percy leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms and pouting while Niall rolled his eyes and leaned forward to start studying.

We started studying for a while when Alicia and Lyndsey walked up to our table, causing Niall to shift uncomfortably in his chair.

"Oh, hey Monique, great to see you" Alicia started before noticing me. "It's a shame you're stuck with that skank" she continued, nodding in my direction.

I looked across the table at Niall and noticed he looked a little angry. I could tell he wanted to say something to her, but he didn't. I saw another emotion in his eyes. Love. Niall Horan still loves Alicia Romano.

The thought filled me with an emotion I'm not used to feeling. Jealousy. Niall Horan loves Alicia Romano and I am jealous.

"Hey new boy, I'd stay away from her if I were you, she really knows how to ruin a reputation" Alicia said to Percy, referring to me, before she and Lyndsey walked off.

"Who was she talking about?" Percy asked. I closed my books and put them in my bag.

"Me" I said, grabbing my bag and storming off, jealous of Alicia.
