Chapter 31 - Swagger Jagger

*Niall's P.O.V.*

After I got my lunch, I joined the others, sitting down at the lunch table.

"Nice of you to join us" Monique teased. I chuckled in response.

"Why didn't you tell me you were dating Skye? I thought we were bros!" Percy asked, looking slightly insulted.

"Sorry" I shrugged.

"Sorry?! That's it?!"

"Quit nagging him Percy, that's Skye's job" Monique joked. We all chuckled in response. "So what did you guys do yesterday?"

"We went to the movies" I replied.

"What?!" Monique asked, looking at Skye "You saw Minions without me?! I thought we were going to see that together"

"We only watched the first ten minutes"

"Yeah, Niall thought it was confusing" Skye added.

"It's not confusing! It's a kids movie. What's confusing about it?" Monique wondered.

"He thinks they all look the same"

"No, they don't!" Monique argued.

"Wait, if you guys only watched ten minutes of the movie, then what did you do for the rest of the movie?" Percy asked.

I smirked, continuing to eat, while Skye blushed, looking down.

"Please tell me you guys aren't that couple who goes to the movies to make out" Monique said.

"Guilty" I chuckled, making Skye turn an even darker shade of red before punching me in the arm, making me laugh even harder. I wrapped my arm around her, pulling her into my chest. She hid her face in my chest, still blushing.

"You guys are so cute" Monique stated.

Suddenly, Alicia and Lindsey walked up to our table. Skye pulled away from me, sitting up and resumed eating her lunch, attempting to ignore Alicia's presence.

"Hey Niall! I hear you're into sluts now" Alicia 'greeted'.

"So you decided to make an appearance?" Skye asked in a bitchy manner that I haven't seen since she and Alicia were friends.

"I'd watch my back if I were you Niall, Skye has been known to ruin a reputation" Alicia scoffed before she and Lindsey walked off.

I rolled my eyes and pulled Skye back towards me, kissing her temple.

"Just ignore them. They're not worth it" I told Skye, who was slightly pissed off.

"Clearly Alicia is jealous. Oh Niall, I hear you like sluts. We should fuck sometime" she said mockingly.

"Seriously! Who just shows up like that  unless they're jealous? Desperate much?" Monique added.

"Randy Capone is throwing a party tonight. Are you guys going?" I asked, changing the subject.

"It's Monday!" Skye replied.

"So? A party's a party, besides going to school all day after two weeks of vacation is a reason to party. School sucks"

"True. Well I'm up for it if you guys are"

"I'm going" I told her.

"I can't. My mom is making me go to some dinner thing that her work is doing. She thinks she may get a promotion" Monique told us.

"I can't go either, my cousin is making me go dress shopping with her. She's getting married" Percy told us.

"Speaking of getting married, isn't your mom getting married?" Skye asked me.

"Yeah, I think she's getting married in March" I replied.

"She should get married on St. Patrick's Day. That'd be funny"

"Why would that be funny?"

"'Cause you're Irish, duh!"

"You're a dork" I told her making her stick her tongue out at me. "How mature"

"I am mature"

"No, you're not" I laughed.

"Neither are you!"

"Well, I guess I'm too immature to take you with me"

"What?" She asked, confused.

"My mom is letting me bring a date. I was going to ask you, but I'm too immature to bring a date"

"No! I wanna go!" She whined.

"I don't know if you'll be able to handle going to a wedding with someone as immature as me"

"I'll be fine. Please? Take me with you!"

"Okay babe, you can come to the wedding with me" I said reluctantly to tease her.

"Yay! Thank you Niall" she said, hugging me tightly.

"Calm down, it's just a wedding" I said, chuckling at her reaction.

"A wedding that I wanted to go to"

"You're such a dork" I told her before she punched my arm. "What? It's adorable!"

"No, the two of you are adorable" Monique corrected.

I'm sad that they are taking a break in March, but at least they aren't splitting up, besides they need a break, they deserve it.
