Yoongi groaned as he stirred from sleep, a hiss going through him as he stretched out his body and peeled open his eyes to see light streaming in from his windows and his bed a mess. Sighing through his nose, he pushed himself up and hearing his TV going off from the living room.
Grunting a bit, he checked his phone and saw that it was almost noon. Sighing through his nose, he got up and showered and dressed before he made an appearance in front of Hoseok who was sitting on the couch with his eyes locked on the screen.
"Morning, hyung. We're out of food," he called. Yoongi sighed, turning to glare towards Hoseok with a arched brow. Hoseok looked sheepish as he gave a tiny smile. "Oops?"
"I think you meant my food," he corrected and then touched his growling stomach. "Alright... I guess I need to go food shopping, and guess what? Your lazy ass is coming too." Hoseok groaned but pushed himself to his feet.
Silently gathering their wallets and jackets before they exited the apartment and exhaled into the air. Hoseok shoved his hands in his pockets as he sighed. "Remind to stay stay up till one am playing video games with Joon."
"Noted and sent," Yoongi sighed and groaned. "God, I'm tired and I still have some work for some classes to do. But first, food."
"Amen," Hoseok answered. They fell back into quiet as they entered the store, the red haired grabbing the cart while Yoongi pulled out his phone and checked his notes for the grocery list. His eyes skimmed before he pointed towards the vegetable section.
Hoseok agreed wordlessly as they shopped. Yoongi grabbed what he needed, adding a few extra snacks since Hoseok has been lingering more. He briefly wondered if everything was alright at home, or if something happened with his sister, but decided to wait until the other was ready to say anything.
They had been friends long enough to know Hoseok will tell you what is on his mind when he ready, and never before. He liked to think things over, make sure his feelings are valued before he burdened you with his issues.
Yoongi never minded. He could be the same way.
Drifting to the next aisle, Yoongi sighed as he glanced at the cereals before he looked back towards Hoseok, who was answering a text on his phone with a slight look over his features. "Do you want Fruit Loops or Frosted Flakes?"
"Fruit Loops, duh," he answered and sent his friend a feigned look of betrayal. Rolling his eyes at his dramatics, he grabs two boxes and tosses them into the cart. Hoseok grinned. "Epic."
"You are very tiresome, " Yoongi muttered with a sigh. Hoseok laughed but didn't disagree as they turned. Hoseok eyed the two men and what looked like a toddler attached to one of their hips- that seemed to be a little ways down the aisle, their backs turned.
Hoseok's eyes widened when he recognized soft brown hair, tawny skin, and delicate features. "Holy shit, hyung. Is that Jeongguk?" he wondered, mouth parting in shock. Yoongi raised his head from the other cereals, turning to where Yoongi was looking and felt his throat tighten.
Jeongguk was talking quietly, a warm smile on his face as he talked to the older man with silvery pink hair and a toddler attached to his hip. His eyes were bright, unguarded like he had nothing to fear, and his voice lilting and bright as he spoke in softer tones.
The toddler was giggling with his head on the broad shoulder of the older man, who seemed to have fun playing with the boys timberland clad feet. His hair was a black color, fluffy on his head and his features angular.
The pink haired man seemed to be really handsome- beautiful even- with his pink hair and soft smile of his full pink lips. His eyes were a light brown that glinted with affection and mirth as he teased Jeongguk.
