To say Jeongguk was shocked was an understatement. He couldn't stop glancing over at the dining room table where two figures were hunched over, each with the utmost serious expressions Jeongguk had ever seen.

Minjun was holding his little blue crayon tightly in his small hand, tongue poking out in the corner of his mouth as his brow furrowed in concentration on the little cartoon cat that he was drawing- Yoonie the boy had said seriously when he picked it out from his book.

To which Yoongi had told him a prompt "I am not a kitten. What is with you and Bunny calling me one?" and Minjun arguing in his best 'adult' voice that Min Yoongi, in fact, was a kitten. To prove a point, the older man- of many, many years, Jeongguk might add- childishly pulled out a picture of mouse. Then said "if I am a kitten, then you're a mouse".

And thus, the usually loud apartment has been filled with silence except for Jeongguk's steps and chuckles as he cleaned the apartment and started making dinner for the... three of them? all while watching the two 'children' furiously color.

Yoongi had his hair pulled under a beanie, folding his ears slightly, and his helix earrings showcased as his rings glinted a bit as he used the brown crayon to color in the mouses eyes while his dark cat eyes were narrowed.

Jeongguk wasn't going to lie- he looked handsome as he sat there. He wore simple loose blue jeans, a belt with a white shirt tucked in and his pale arms on display to show blue veins and some hidden muscle.

As if sensing the younger man's stare, the pale haired lifted his head and meet Jeongguk's gaze evenly. Blushing, he ducked his head and returned to focusing on the food he was attempting to make without the distracting view of his son and his... something? drawing cutely at the dining table.

When Jeongguk woke up this morning, he never imagined his day would go like this. He just expected the usual day of being with Minjun, sad since he knew that Yoongi was gone from his life like the others, but then, like magic, there he was.

It felt surreal, and he just kept wanting to check to make sure that he was still there, at the table. All day Yoongi had been there. It had been a interesting day. For the three of them. Jeongguk was learning that Yoongi was quite awkward around kids, or really, in general since he often forgot Minjun could hear and swore, or stopped himself moments before.

Sometimes when Minjun was babbling the way three years old do, Yoongi would take it too seriously and be very confused on the game, thus it ending with him pouting and slight frustrated.

There was also the fact he did not, in fact, like Disney movies.

Yet, Jeongguk was sure that he heard the elder hum 'Let it Go' under his breathe a few hours after watching Frozen- simple because Minjun had pouted. Jeongguk should have told him that those tears, were in fact, fake, but seeing Yoongi panic and throw it on the TV faster than Jeongguk could blink was too funny to pass up.

Minjun was also learning a lot of things from the newcomer. He learned that Yoongi was a major pushover. A few tears or a pout and boom- he got his way. Jeongguk wanted to be angry- he had four pieces of candy in under thirty minutes earlier that afternoon- but one sweet gummy smile and a grinning face of his son and he just couldn't find it in him.

Minjun had also picked up on trying to copy Yoongi. If he was sitting a certain way, he would adjust his tiny body and do the same. If he was doing a hand gesture, Minjun would do it right behind. The older man hadn't noticed, and Jeongguk was too stunned to comment.

What was it about Min Yoongi that the three year old was so open to? He still didn't talk to anyone at daycare, causing Jeongguk a major headache since they kept on trying to tell him that something was wrong with his son. He still only said a word or two to Tae, and it was usually the man's name, but as soon as Yoongi was around, he was playful and listened with rapt attention to the older.
