Chapter 53: Best of Me

"TaeTae!" Minjun screamed, ramming his body into the older boy. Taehyung grinned, bending down and sweeping the child into his arms as he squealed and laughed as he twirled him around. "I missed you!"

"And, I, you, my great prince!" Taehyung replied, pulling him closer and kissing his cheek. Hoseok pouted from beside his boyfriend, catching Minjun's gaze.

"Where is my love? Sunny wants love too!"

"Sunny!" Minjun said, giggling as he transferred arms and straight into Hoseok's who rocked them a moment with a look of sheer warmth and love on his face as he pressed their foreheads together in a sign of affection. "I missed you too!"

"Where is your daddies, Mini?" Taehyung asked, glancing around when he realized that he couldn't find either of the two males when they walked into the apartment. Minjun pulled away from Hoseok to point towards the kitchen.

"Papa is helping daddy in the kitchen," he explained as he was lowered back to the ground. Taehyung hummed, ruffling his hair as he mumbled "be right back" before he slipped towards the kitchen.

Hoseok smiled as he followed Minjun into the living room where his blanket was spread out, his stuffed animals in place, along with snacks all along the coffee table- probably Minjun's begging and Yoongi being a softie that allowed that to happen.

"Tonight we are watching Papa's choice of movie," the eight year old said, grinning as he plopped on the blanket. Hoseok hummed, settling on the couch and reaching for some of the popcorn when a hand smacked him. "No! No eat. Daddy gonna be mad at you."

"But... but... Min, I am older! I can-"

"Daddy! Sunny tried to eat the popcorn!" Minjun shouted, an evil grin on his cute little face. Gasping, Hoseok mocked hurt as he heard steps round the corner and Jeongguk appeared with an amused gleam and wicked brown eyes.

Hoseok was getting the feeling he was totally set up.

"Thank you for guarding the food, baby! Do you wanna tell Hobi hyung what happens if they eat snacks before dinner?" Jeongguk said, setting down another plate of snacks on the coffee table. Minjun nodded sweetly.

"If you eat snacks before dinner you have stand through the entire movie or do wall sits," Minjun said proudly. Taehyung snorted from where he emerged, plopping onto the couch right next to his boyfriend as he eyed Jeongguk with a smack to his lips.

"Why am I not even surprised? Muscle Pig."

"Smurf," Jeongguk countered without even missing a beat. Taehyung groaned, narrowing his eyes a bit but huffed as he turned away. Minjun giggled, climbing onto the couch and instantly playing with the bright blue hair.

Winking, Jeongguk called for Minjun to guard the snacks which he agreed before Jeongguk disappeared again. Hoseok hummed, watching lovingly as the two played with each other's hair, Minjun practically sitting on the back of the couch by now.

It wasn't long before the door was opened and a loud "The Queen is here" could be heard throughout the apartment. Minjun screeched in happiness, slipping off the couch and running towards the front where Jin caught him in a whirlwind.

Namjoon chuckled as he kissed his forehead. "Hey there, bud."

"Joonie!" Minjun greeted and hugged him too. "Come on, TaeTae and Sunny are here too. Daddy and Papa are in the kitchen being gross."

"Hey! Don't give away my secrets!" Jeongguk shouted, appearing at the edge of the kitchen with mussed hair, slightly swollen lips, and flushed cheeks that gave away that the child wasn't actually in the wrong.
