Chapter 5: Accident

Tianas P.O.V

I had to fight my way out of the crowd to get to Luke's car where Ashton and Luke both were. I was wearing my light purple sweater with white knee high boots. High heels too, so that made it harder to walk.

I couldn't get through so I decided to walk out the back door of the school and walk around to the parking lot. I thought no one would be here but I was wrong. I didn't see Calum coming towards me on a skateboard. Next thing I know Calum crashed into me and I fell flat on my face.

"HOLY SHIT! TIANA ARE YOU OKAY? I'M SO SORRY," Calum said with a lot of worry in his voice.

"I'm fine," I said quietly but I could tell he didn't believe me.

"TIANA YOUR LEG IS BLEEDING!" I heard him shout faintly. I was starting to feel very dizzy. He kept tapping my arms. I felt some of his tears drip to my hands. After that everything went black.

I woke up in a hospital bed with a bunch of beeping machines around me. I turned my head to get a look of what was around me. I saw Calum sitting in a chair crying.

"Calum?" I say quietly. Once he heard me he smiled so big and ran over to me and kissed me.

"I'm sorry I let that happen to you," Calum said hoping I would forgive him.

I didn't know what to do honestly. He just...kissed me.

"I've gotta go tell the doctor. One second," he said running out of the room. His phone fell out of his pocket and landed next to me. I tried to call for him but it was too late, he had already left. His phone buzzed 3 times so I decided to quickly look.

Hey Calum where are you?

If you wanna come over tonight I'd be cool with that as long as you come alone.

~Text from Holly
Oh and if you wanna date me again you better ditch that alley rat Tiana.

As I put his phone down I felt the tears running down my face. He was still with Holly. I felt my heart breaking and the amount of tears running down my face could fill a swimming pool. I hear him coming so I wipe my tears on the pillow and pretend to sleep.

"I'm sorry sir but I cannot do the final test unless she is awake," the doctor said sternly.

I had woken up a while ago and they did the final tests and said I was ready to leave. Calum drove me over to his house.

"Why are we here?" I ask in an angry tone.

"Because you were supposed to come over to study, but then I fucked up everything and bumped into you and made you go to the hospital. So we are here so I can say sorry," he said trying to hold my hand, but I shook his hand off.

We went in his room watching TV when he finally spoke up.

"Are you mad at me?" He said with worry in his eyes. I decided to tell him the truth.

"Yes, I am mad at you Calum. Not just for bumping into me and landing me into the hospital but for being such a douche! I saw those text messages Holly sent you when you dropped your phone next to me in the hospital!!" I could feel the tears running down my face as I was slightly yelling at him. "And you kissed me when Holly is texting you? Do you KNOW how much that hurt me?!" I say finally finishing what seemed like a long speech about how much of an ass Calum was to me.

"I don't like Holly! She just keeps texting me random things. She knows that I like you. Only you." He said wrapping his arms around me as my head was on his chest.

"Holly is just a little slut I promise you," he says smiling. To be honest he made laugh quietly.
